a few notes on character design/styling:
the angel:
a whimsical take on an ethereal being. her innocence shines but her curiosity leads when crossing into our world.
i took inspo from john galliano’s 2024 maison margiela artisanal collection and focused on her silhouette.
to enhance her otherworldly custom-made wings, i added tulle sleeves, ruffled lace socks, a ruffle collar, and a corset (i love corsets).
to capture that cherubic shine, i sourced a cream colored satin dress and light blue colored heels that matched julianne’s eyeshadow.
these elements created her featherlight look allowing her to move lightly and carefully like a ballerina.
the demon:
an unpredictable trickster. where the angel treads lightly with caution, this creature stomps intentionally.
inspired by the same galliano collection, i chose a black tight dress with sheer draping sleeves from jill’s wardrobe and added a black ruffle collar and lace fingerless gloves to parallel the angel.
to complement the angel’s wings, i chose asymmetrical antlers to create a magical presence.
while the angel’s soft and somewhat revealing costume shows vulnerability, the demon covers up symbolizing her secretive nature.
only her exposed fingers give away her intentions as she draws your attention towards where she wants it.
the boy:
caught in between two creatures, his night of waiting leads to whimsical mischief.
i’ve always wanted to do masquerade in my own projects. catching the angel’s attention, his “otherworldly” sparkling mask stands out from the angel’s wings and the demon’s antlers.
his black and white suit shows his internal tug of war between his curious and cautious selves.
this opens the door to a night he won’t forget.

the angel:
a whimsical take on an ethereal being. her innocence shines but her curiosity leads when crossing into our world.
i took inspo from john galliano’s 2024 maison margiela artisanal collection and focused on her silhouette.
to enhance her otherworldly custom-made wings, i added tulle sleeves, ruffled lace socks, a ruffle collar, and a corset (i love corsets).
to capture that cherubic shine, i sourced a cream colored satin dress and light blue colored heels that matched julianne’s eyeshadow.
these elements created her featherlight look allowing her to move lightly and carefully like a ballerina.
the demon:
an unpredictable trickster. where the angel treads lightly with caution, this creature stomps intentionally.
inspired by the same galliano collection, i chose a black tight dress with sheer draping sleeves from jill’s wardrobe and added a black ruffle collar and lace fingerless gloves to parallel the angel.
to complement the angel’s wings, i chose asymmetrical antlers to create a magical presence.
while the angel’s soft and somewhat revealing costume shows vulnerability, the demon covers up symbolizing her secretive nature.
only her exposed fingers give away her intentions as she draws your attention towards where she wants it.
the boy:
caught in between two creatures, his night of waiting leads to whimsical mischief.
i’ve always wanted to do masquerade in my own projects. catching the angel’s attention, his “otherworldly” sparkling mask stands out from the angel’s wings and the demon’s antlers.
his black and white suit shows his internal tug of war between his curious and cautious selves.
this opens the door to a night he won’t forget.

somebody’s always watching…
thank you for watching the director’s cut of my short film “Somebody’s Watching Me.” I originally made this as a short video last year, but I wanted to revamp it by adding a new ending, visuals and a whole soundtrack. The original marked my debut of making creative videos over a year ago and I couldn’t help develop it some more. Enjoy my madness.
