We’ve partnered with Waxwork Records to release the OBSESSION Original Motion Picture Soundtrack by Rock Burwell. Obsession follows a hopeless romantic that finds himself getting exactly what he asked for but soon discovers that some desires come at a dark, sinister price.

“A big focus while composing @obsessionthemovie was the idea of exploring the uncanny valley, finding the space where emotions get warped into something disorienting, where you’re no longer sure what’s real” Burwell notes. “Curry and I spent a lot of time together crafting the balance between feelings like warmth and dread, nostalgia and estrangement, even the expansiveness of how love feels versus something like claustrophobia. Part of what made it all so exciting was the willingness to take risks, using hard cuts and loudness in ways that feel almost confrontational. Discomfort was always the goal.

Obsession marks Burwell’s debut as a feature film composer. The score: atmospheric, synth-driven, and disorienting, was developed in close collaboration with director @curry.barker , and grew out of a creative partnership that began when the two met through a mutual music project in Los Angeles.

@waxworkrecords presents OBSESSION Original Motion Picture Soundtrack by @rockburwell as a deluxe LP set featuring the complete 26 cue soundtrack album, “Obsession” pearlescent red colored vinyl, heavyweight gatefold jackets with matte UV coating, a 12”x12” insert, and new artwork by @robertsammelin.

Despite Snoopy’s more fantastical elements, he has always been the relatable core to Peanuts. Snoopy’s worries, anxieties, bursts of joy, and everything in between show a wide range of relatable emotions and situations that we’ve empathized with for decades. This time around, we’re bringing two of our favorite Snoopy panels to life as part of our Peanuts screen print series. Snoopy is an icon, and there’s nothing better than a cranky, yet adorable, Snoopy.

Jhonen Vasquez’s Invader Zim was a dark, disgusting, absurd, and absolutely hilarious cartoon that invaded our brain way back in 2001. The cartoon only ran for two seasons, but it has left an indelible imprint on anybody growing up during that era. @mrflorey print is an unbelievable ode to Jhonen’s wild masterpiece, and we can hear Zim scream-monologuing as we lovingly stare at the image. Featuring Zim, GIR, Dib, Gaz, one of GIR’s piggies, and so much more, Florey’s print is full of love for the twisted show.
