This is the kind of night you don’t plan—you just get lucky enough to be there. At the Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival World Tour stop in Breckenridge, the crowd didn’t just watch @bestdayevermovie—they met one of the stars. Greg Durso, one of the film’s featured riders, was there in person, bringing the story off the screen and into the room.
Fresh off winning both Audience Choice and Best Film: Mountain Sports at the at the 2025 festival in Banff, Best Day Ever tracks @welcome2_mylife and @allie.bianchi, adaptive mountain bikers who ride hard, laugh harder, and refuse to let anything define their limits. Along the way, it tells the story of how the first adaptive trail network in the world came to life.
And in Breckenridge, that story lands differently. Hosted by the Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center (@boec_adaptive), this stop directs proceeds straight into adaptive recreation programs—turning what you see on screen into something actively happening in the community.
Greg mentioned he was in town and, as a longtime member of the BOEC community, he was glad to come out and join them for the film screening—especially with the launch of their adaptive MTB program this summer.
Sometimes our World Tour screenings turn into full-circle moments. The World Tour is still on the road. Check the link in bio to find a stop near you.

May the Fourth be with you. The Force is certainly strong with this one✨
Molly has been part of the BOEC community for 16 years. She lives with Fanconi Anemia, a rare condition that impacts many aspects of her daily life, but on the mountain, she’s found something powerful.
Through BOEC, Molly has built confidence, trust, and lasting friendships. “The BOEC has changed my life in so many ways. I’ve learned to trust myself and others, and my instructors and volunteers have become some of my biggest supporters. I’m so grateful for my BOEC family.”
Her impact goes both ways. One of her longtime instructors, Ty, shares, “Her love for skiing is infectious, and everyone wants the chance to ski with her. Molly always brings a positive energy to our community. She loves skiing on Silverthorne, where she can say hello to other BOEC participants and share her excitement with everyone.”
Whether she’s channeling the Force, skiing fast, or handing out candy to staff, Molly reminds us that everyone deserves to feel joy on the mountain.

Our 2025–26 winter season was one to remember. Despite a challenging snow year, our team delivered exceptional experiences for every participant.
We welcomed nearly 1,000 participants from across the country throughout the season, and celebrated our 50th anniversary with Mountain Takeovers at Keystone and Breckenridge. But one of our favorite things to reflect on, is the feedback from our participants and their families, reminding us why this work is so important.
This impact isn’t possible without support from our incredible partners. Thanks to the Vail Resorts Epic Promise Foundation, we’re able to create life-changing experiences on the slopes.
Thank you to our donors, volunteers, staff, partners, and resort teams who supported our mission all season long. We’re grateful for another transformative season in the books.💚

April 28 marks a pivotal moment in disability rights and a new chapter for inclusion in sport.
On this day in 1977, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act was signed, prohibiting discrimination based on disability and expanding access for millions.
Today, that legacy continues with the Inaugural National Adaptive Sport Day.
In Breckenridge, we’re proud to be part of the movement. As we celebrate 50 years of access, the Town of Breckenridge is recognizing BOEC today with an official proclamation.
This work is about more than sport. It’s about access, opportunity, and belonging.
Add your voice. Sign the pledge.

Access to the outdoors starts with a community of people who show up!
Today, we’re highlighting Colleen, who returned to the mountain for her fourth season volunteering with the Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center (BOEC) adaptive ski program.
Each day on the hill looks a little different, with every participant bringing their own goals and perspective. Colleen helps create meaningful experiences on the mountain, and leaves each day just as inspired as the people she supports.
Through Pinnacle’s Volunteer Time Off program, team members are encouraged to give back in ways that feel personal and meaningful. Colleen was the first Pinnacle team member to complete her 16 hours of Volunteer Time Off this year. That support helps make the outdoors more accessible for people of all abilities, one day on the mountain at a time.

We closed out our winter season with an incredible group of veterans from @valorinitiative
This trip was a chance to connect with fellow veterans, step outside of comfort zones, learn new skills, and simply have fun. We're proud to help create access to the outdoors for those who have served.💚
We're thankful for our partnership with @coppermtn that helps make experiences like this possible.

This is what inclusivity in the outdoors looks like💚 Year after year, we’re honored to welcome the Wheelchairs 4 Kids group to ski with us in Breckenridge.
For many of these participants, it was their first time even seeing snow. Through adaptive instruction and support, they were able to experience the freedom and joy of skiing, and many didn’t want the days to end!
