Kessie’s ( @bitswkessie ) sets spiral through hypnotic grooves, gnarly kicks, and EBM grit—stitched together with post-punk attitude and the occasional wrong-tempo chug, sub-bass oddity, or experimental curveball. A resident at Love Muscle (Leeds) and Structure (London), her razor sharp style has taken her to Berghain, Fold, Open Ground, The White Hotel, Perron, and a growing circuit of clubs across the UK and Europe. Wearing hearing aids since the age of four, Kessie connects with music through its weight and texture as much as its sound—bringing a raw, tactile intensity to her sets. As the UK’s techno scene veers toward a late-’90s-inspired, fast and dissonant space, Kessie leans into a wall-of-sound aesthetic rooted in machine music, building sets that are immersive, confrontational, and hard to ignore.
