For Cosmo’s performance at the Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna 2026, I had the pleasure of creating the masks by hand over many hours.
The lightweight materials allow the dancers to move freely and comfortably on stage. Grateful to be part of such an amazing performance.

✨ When insurance becomes art ✨
For our latest show for Mobiliar, we brought together stage technology, design and creativity to create a unique live experience. From aerial performance to innovative costumes, every element became part of one visual language. What makes it special is when an artistic vision turns into something real through the collaboration of so many creative minds.

A phoenix rising from the ashes

As the opening of the show celebrating the 200th anniversary of Die Mobiliar in Bern, shaped by the artistic vision and creative direction of Nadine Imboden, a scene unfolds that sets the tone for the entire evening and carries a promise within it.
From this clear vision, everything converges into a single image:
idea, movement, space, light, and bodies.
Nothing is accidental; everything is interconnected.

Together with hair aerial artist Nicole Matres and Wings carried by six dancers, the performance slowly reveals itself.
At first, individual wing elements appear – fragments in motion, shaped through dance.
Then they begin to connect, to grow, to unite.
Until the phoenix becomes visible – rising from the ashes.

The costume and wings were created through fine handcraft, made with the finest fabrics and materials, built layer by layer with great care, patience, and attention to detail – allowing the visual transformation to fully unfold on stage.

This moment is accompanied by a powerful live music performance, with Edona singing Rise Like a Phoenix.
Her voice carries the scene, deepening the emotion and weaving sound, movement, and image into a single breath.

The choreography is subtle and precise, powerful yet restrained.
It allows space for tension, for stillness, for transformation.
The set design supports the narrative with clarity and sensitivity – holding, framing, and strengthening the image.

What emerges is an opening that needs no explanation.
An image that resonates.
A vision brought to life through movement, craft, and collective artistry.

I am deeply grateful to have been part of this project and want to sincerely thank Nadine Imboden and her team for welcoming me so warmly and giving me the opportunity to be involved. Also grateful for a team full of heart, respect, and professionalism. Creating something bigger than yourself is a gift.

❤️What a moment❤️
The show by Nadine Imboden for“ Die Mobiliar“ in Bern was a true masterpiece: dancers, acrobats, cabaret, and singers – carried by precise choreography, stunning set design, Dance and a beautiful book.

I had the honour of creating the final image, the Phoenix – a project that accompanied me through many, many countless hours over the past weeks. Layer by layer, hand-sewn, using fine fabrics, trims from India, crystals, thousands of hand-set stones, and a headpiece made of latex, embellished with crystals and trims, until everything felt just right.

The Phoenix was carried by 5 lovely aerial acrobats, slowly lowered from 17 metres, in a powerful yet delicate performance. Many thanks to the rigger Duncan and his team for making the amazing rigging possible.

At its heart was a system that first appears as a single wing – until it becomes clear that it is five human beings. Surprise, goosebumps, transformation.

I am deeply grateful to have been part of this project and want to sincerely thank Nadine Imboden and her team for welcoming me so warmly and giving me the opportunity to be involved. Also grateful for a team full of heart, respect, and professionalism. Creating something bigger than yourself is a gift.❤️

1 Year Anniversary – Season of the Witch 2024, Zürich

Vor genau einem Jahr entstand dieser beeindruckende Look für den roten Teppich - passend zur größten Halloweenparty in der Schweiz.

Ein kompletter Foam-Latex-Prosthetic Look– von Hand geairbrushed, vorgearbeitet in der Werkstatt, und über 8 Stunden Makeup-Zeit live vor Ort im Kaufleuten in Zürich.

Ein riesiges Danke an @retohanselmann – für dein Sitzfleisch, dein Vertrauen und deine Professionalität.
Danke an das gesamte Team und das spektakuläre Event Season of the Witch Zürich – pure Kunst, pure Extravaganz. @gossipqueen und viele andere fleißige Hände waren an dem großen Projekt beteiligt.

Und natürlich an @birgitmoertl, die das Kostüm zu einem echten Meisterwerk gemacht hat.
