The story revolves around a piano tuner (Francis) tasked to tune a piano belonging to a widower. He soon learns that Arnie, the widowed, has recently been robbed. A mystery ensues wherein Francis turns detective, the piano acting as timeline to the crime, each note resembling a clue.
