Από τις 28 Μαΐου, το Beetroot House φιλοξενεί μια ομαδική έκθεση φωτογραφίας με τέσσερις φίλους από τη Θεσσαλονίκη, που εδώ και χρόνια ταξιδεύουν με μια φωτογραφική μηχανή — και αρκετά διαφορετικό τρόπο να βλέπουν τον κόσμο.
Έχουν βρεθεί στα ίδια μέρη, έχουν περπατήσει τις ίδιες διαδρομές, όμως ο καθένας καταγράφει κάτι διαφορετικό. Μέσα από τις φωτογραφίες τους ξεχωρίζουν οι διαφορετικές ματιές, οι προσωπικές λεπτομέρειες και οι μικρές ιστορίες πίσω από κάθε εικόνα.
Στον εκθεσιακό χώρο του Beetroot House, οι τέσσερις φωτογράφοι συναντιούνται ξανά μέσα από τις εικόνες τους και μας προσκαλούν σε αυτή τη συνομιλία.

Starting May 28, Beetroot House hosts a group photography exhibition by four friends from Thessaloniki, who have spent years travelling with a camera — and very different ways of seeing the world.
They’ve visited the same places, walked the same streets, yet each of them captures something entirely different. Through their photographs, distinct perspectives, personal details, and small stories gradually come into focus.
At Beetroot House, the four photographers meet once again through their images and invite us into that conversation.

Christoph Niemann (b. 1970) is an artist, author, and animator known for his iconic illustrations on covers of *The New Yorker* and *The New York Times Magazine*. His work spans books, museum exhibitions, live drawing events, and innovative projects like AR and VR covers.
He has collaborated with major brands including Google and MoMA, and created installations in cities around the world. Niemann is also the author of several books, such as *Abstract City* and *Sunday Sketching*, and has been featured in Netflix’s *Abstract*.
A member of the Alliance Graphique Internationale, he was inducted into the Art Directors Club Hall of Fame in 2010.

Το 2012, με αφορμή τη συμπλήρωση 100 χρόνων από την «απελευθέρωση» της Θεσσαλονίκης, ο Γιάννης Καρλόπουλος @karlorama @associates.work ξεκινάει τη συγκέντρωση ενός αρχείου με καρτ ποστάλ που απεικονίζουν την πόλη από τις αρχές του 20ού αιώνα έως και τη δεκαετία του ’80-’90, οπότε και αρχίζει να φθίνει η χρήση των καρτ ποστάλ ως μέσου επικοινωνίας. Παράλληλα συγκεντρώνει και μελετά άρθρα και βιβλία ιστορικά, λογοτεχνικά και φιλοσοφικά, καθώς και εκπομπές για την ιστορία και τη ζωή της Θεσσαλονίκης.

Ένα τμήμα αυτού του αρχείου παρουσιάζεται στο βιβλίο με χρονολογική σειρά, η οποία εξυπηρετεί δύο σκοπούς: τη γραμμική αφήγηση της ιστορίας και της εξέλιξης ενός τόπου και την ανάδειξη της εξέλιξης της τυπογραφίας. Το βιβλίο χωρίζεται σε τέσσερις ενότητες, με βάση τον τρόπο εκτύπωσης των καρτ ποστάλ κάθε περιόδου: χρωμολιθογραφίες, φωτομηχανικές εκτυπώσεις, φωτοκάρτες και πιο πρόσφατες κάρτες offset τετραχρωμίας.

Love Unbound Festival 2026 is back. 🌈
Ο κινηματογράφος δεν είναι απλώς ψυχαγωγία. Είναι καθρέφτης, είναι χώρος αναγνώρισης, είναι ιστορίες που μας βοηθούν να καταλάβουμε πώς αγαπάμε, πώς ζούμε και πώς βλέπουμε τον εαυτό μας και τους γύρω μας.

Το πρόγραμμα Five Films For Freedom, σε συνεργασία με το British Council Greece και το BFI Flare (@britishfilminstitute), ταξιδεύει κάθε χρόνο παγκόσμια μέσα από την online πλατφόρμα του, δίνοντας χώρο σε πέντε σύγχρονες queer ιστορίες που μιλούν για την αγάπη, την ταυτότητα και την ελευθερία ως εμπειρίες βαθιά ανθρώπινες και κοινές.

Αυτόν τον Μάρτιο, στο Love Unbound Festival 2026, οι ιστορίες αυτές συναντιούνται ξανά, αυτή τη φορά στο @beetroothouse. Σε ένα χώρο όπου μπορούμε να τις δούμε μαζί, να τις συζητήσουμε, να τις αισθανθούμε συλλογικά.

Μέσα από προβολές, συζητήσεις, workshops αλλά και μία ιδιαίτερη φωτογραφική έκθεση που θα παρουσιαστεί σε συνεργασία με το Ίδρυμα Χάινριχ Μπελ @boell_gr, γιορτάζουμε τη δύναμη του κινηματογράφου να φέρνει κοντά ανθρώπους, να ανοίγει διαλόγους και να εμπνέει αλλαγή.

Five Films For Freedom, presented in partnership with the British Council and BFI Flare, travels globally each year through its online platform.

This March, at Love Unbound Festival 2026, these stories also meet audiences in a shared physical space at Beetroot House. A space where we can watch together, talk together, and feel together.

Through screenings, conversations, workshops and a unique photographic exhibition that will be presented in collaboration with the Heinrich Böll Foundation - Thessaloniki Office, we celebrate the power of cinema to connect people, open dialogue and inspire change.

For this special show, the band expands with Dimos Danas (trumpet) and Eduard Spaapen (percussion).
Jazz, hip-hop, house, broken beat and ambient merge into a hypnotic groove inspired by Sufi whirling.
