creating this film was beautifully tumultuous.

I felt joy.
I felt overwhelmed.
I crashed out.
I felt creative exhaustion.

the process felt like a never ending wave of figuring it out & then 5 million other things coming up that Ineeded to solve.

but despite the hurdles, the motivation behind this film & the team I had behind me was what supported me through it.

ive taken some time to process everything, and im completely overwhelmed by the love I’ve been receiving from this film: that people felt seen, heard, understood, even cried, watching my film. but despite the hurdles, the motivation behind this film & the team I had behind me was what supported me through it.

ive taken some time to process everything, and im completely overwhelmed by the love I’ve been receiving from this film: that people felt seen, heard, understood, even cried, watching my film. And knowing this has resonated with so many of you has literally brought me to tears (I was balling my eyes out during intermission lol) because all the hard work I’ve put into this was all worth it.

i’ve always wanted to look at a movie and say, “wow, I grew up just like that!” And now I can proudly say that created that.

thank you to my crew @gabegaledo & @jacobvergel for being the brains behind the camera and educating me about film terms I had no idea about lol. Eternally grateful to have worked on this project with both of you!
