“Movement towards freedom”

By bringing this freedom of movement into traditionally athletic spaces — a fencing hall, a basketball court, a judo mat — we challenge the rigidity of these environments. Sports are often divided by gender and governed by precise rules and techniques, shaping the body according to specific roles and expectations. But by introducing dance into these spaces, we break down those barriers and reimagine their purpose.
