Getting so close to wrapping up the @gearstarpro 69 Camaro, fenders, fender extensions, doors, lower valence, mirrors and door hinges are in base and clear. Once the body is done being wet sanded the car will be put back together and we liner up the front end to do the stripes on hood, cowl and header panel.This was my first time using @devilbissbybinks @devilbiss_refinish DV1 clear coat gun with a 1.3 fluid tip. I’m very happy with the final results for five coats of high solids clear. @basfrefinish @basf_global @basf_na @rmpaintofficial

Last year, we partnered with Coulson Aviation to help bring back a car lost in the Southern California wildfire through its online Restoration Contest.

After reviewing many incredible stories, Ben Johnson’s ’55 Chevy Delray was selected as the winner. He bought the car when he was 16 years old, and it’s been part of his life ever since - until it was lost in the Alta Dena Fire.

Now, in partnership with Coulson Aviation, we’re making it our mission to rebuild Ben’s car. We’ll be incorporating what’s left of the Delray into a new build that captures what the car meant to him and his family.

I’ve started working on the design, and we’re just getting underway.
I can't wait to share the journey with you.
