The second edition of the Next Gen Design Competition invites young designers and thinkers 18–35 across Europe to engage with a world in flux—and to step in boldly to protect values they stand for and shape what will come next.
With Futures Worth Living, we're inviting a generation that sees these contradictions up close to question what's considered "normal" and imagine something better. This competition is your space to experiment, challenge what no longer works, and design bold, youth-led ideas that bring people together, heal the planet, and shape a future that actually feels worth living. 💫
This open call is part of a larger three-year collaboration among five major European design festivals, including Mikser Festival, What Design Can Do, Vienna Design Week, Barcelona Design Week, and Skopje Design Week, and is supported by the EU. As a distinguished professional in furniture design and production, he has collaborated on numerous projects with prestigious international brands. He is also one of the three pillars behind the globally acclaimed multidisciplinary studio Numen / ForUse, known for its innovative and experimental approach to design.
