Known for his releases on Raster-Noton, Progressive Form and Stroboscopic Artefacts, @aokitakamasa blends minimal techno, experimental electronica, ambient textures and glitch-driven sound design into deeply immersive sets shaped by years spent between Osaka, Paris and Berlin. A rare chance to experience one of the most respected figures of contemporary Japanese electronic music in the intimate setting of BAR TON. Yours truly xx

🎛️ KHAN - BLUE BOX SESSIONS
• STRENGTHS: early recordings from Can Oral’s vast archive, made during his early-’90s Williamsburg years using hardware scavenged from New York junk shops, TR-808s, TB-303s, Polysix synths all pushed into loose, dubbed-out Balearic territory; raw but controlled, with the hazy momentum of after-hours downtown culture running through every track
• RISKS: intentionally unpolished, more interested in atmosphere, repetition, and texture than clean arrangements or obvious climaxes, drifting at times into near-sketch territory
• POTENTIAL: a document of a very specific underground ecosystem, somewhere between proto-house, acid, no-wave, and psychedelic downtempo, carrying the same strange magnetism as Temple Records itself; ideal for warm-up sets, late-night transitions, and listeners drawn to dance music with archival dust still on it
