Balanced Forces presents: Echoes of Freedom

An Augmented Reality (AR) Art Exhibition at Liberty State Park hosted by @trishgiaart - part of the larger America 250 AR Art & History Tour of Jersey City.

Co-Curated by @jbr_visuals @rakkausartanddesign and supported by @illust.space
Opening: July 4th, 2026

The project uses mobile-based AR experiences to connect public space, history, and contemporary digital art.

Visitors can access all artworks directly through their smartphones with no app download required.

Echoes of Freedom is a year-long public AR exhibition featuring curated digital works by contemporary artists exploring themes of freedom, democracy, immigration, identity, and the evolving American experience. 

Who Can Apply?
The open call is open to American artists.
Artists working in augmented reality, digital installation, animation, and immersive media are encouraged to apply. 

Please note that AI-generated works will NOT be accepted for this exhibition.

Why Apply?
This exhibition offers the opportunity to present art in a highly visible public setting during the America 250 celebration and the FIFA World Cup events.

“Lysara of Blooming Current”

Lysara emerged in a time of sorrow, when the Coralites had forgotten that conservation is wisdom. Wherever she danced, broken reefs began to rise, lost creatures returned, and coral bloomed again. When rival houses nearly destroyed a sacred reef through conflict, Lysara entered the ruin and danced alone until the waters cleared and the reef revived. In that moment, the Coralites understood that the reef could not survive through domination, only through balance. She was remembered as a spirit of restorative grace.

Lysara of Blooming Current is a super rare 1 of 1 #Coralverse artifact, available for @artizen_fund season 6 contributors.
