The Ultimate Deadly! For seventeen years I’ve been scouring the globe for Deadly creatures, diving with crocodiles and sharks, coming nose to nose with the most venomous snakes and spiders, filming lightning fast birds of prey and getting up close with the biggest and most powerful carnivores.
THIS book is the result of all that work. Of years of expeditions, blood, sweat and tears. It is the last word on predators, modern and ancient.
We face off the greatest Deadly animals our planet has ever seen, investigate their evolution, biology, weaponry and secret skills.
‘Deadly: My Ultimate Lethal Beasts’ is out on the 25th of September. You can pre-order via this link https://lnk.to/DeadlyBookSteveBackshall
And we’re LIVE 🙌

It is that which reminds us of the vast interconnected ecosystems that drive our planet.
We spoke to legendary explorer and naturalist Steve Backshall about his reflection on The Innerview.
"It is that which puts us in our place, which reminds us of the vast interconnected ecosystems that drive our planet. That we - as one single species - can be impacting it is simply too staggering for many minds to comprehend. Perhaps that's why so many people sneer at the realities of climate change."
We’re bringing these extraordinary stories off the page and onto the stage for an exclusive live event.
Join us as we discuss the profound weight of The Innerview and how ocean exploration truly shapes the world around us.
The Details:
📍 Where: The Royal Geographical Society, London
🗓️ When: June 3rd, 2026
🎟️ How to join: Tickets are officially live, but space is limited. Click the link in our bio to secure your seat before they sell out!

Join us as we head out along the UK coast to search for tiny wild sharks hiding beneath the surface. The kids had no idea what to expect, and honestly… neither did I!
Most people don’t realise the UK is home to amazing shark species — including Blues, Nursehounds and small spotted catsharks living right off our coastline.
A massive thank you to our local expert guide Gio Prince (@giosdiving ) and Adam Radage (@adamradage_wild ), for the absolutely stunning shark and underwater footage. Your work is incredible and helped show these animals in all their glory. And an extra special thanks to George Morris (@fathomfilms) for capturing the day!
If you enjoyed the adventure, don’t forget to like and subscribe and come along for the next adventure!
