Fancy just the one day? Say no more πŸ‘€

Whether it's a Friday, a Saturday or a Sunday kind of mood, a day ticket gets you in to catch the acts you're after without committing to the whole shebang.

Just don't hang around. Day tickets are limited, and when they're gone, they're gone for good.

Have a nosy at who's playing when, pick your day, and get yourself to BDTRH this July.

Tag your festival person πŸ’›

The one you've shared too many late nights with. The one who'd be up for BDTRH without thinking twice. The one who makes the weekend what it is.

It's #FirstFestivalWeek with @aif_uk, and instead of looking back at previous instalments of Back Doune (we're only on our second year as BDTRH!), we wanted to share why our organiser Brian started one in the first place πŸ’›

"My first festival was Glastonbury 86'. I was a busker living in a London squat with other musicians and artists, nothing to my name but a guitar and a love for music.

β€œBack then, the whole festival scene was built by independents. Hippies, the travelling community, folk who showed up, built the thing themselves and broke it down at the end. That's the spirit that created the festival culture we still know today.

β€œDecades on and music's still at the centre of everything I do. I'm a performer myself, and I've always believed independent events have something the big ones can't replicate. The creativity, the freedom, the real sense of togetherness.

β€œThat's what we're trying to build at BDTRH. Cardross Estate is beautiful, the community around it is brilliant, and I just wanted to make something folk could look forward to every year. We're still in the early days, but I'm so excited for what's ahead."
