INDONESIA! 🌸 Totally mindblown to be coming back so soon already for an absolute tour highlight right at the start: @javajazzfest with my trio feat. @judith_ferstl and @axlflp WHAAAAAATTT???!!! 👀

We’ll kick-off our monthlong Asia-Oceania Tour in a very intimate setting at the @soundtripjkt - so intimate, it may even coming to YOUR living room!
⏰ Set a clock - this concert will be live-streamed on YT at 8pm Jakarta / 3pm CET 🤩

Our performance at the @ifi_indonesia „European Jazz Night“ will dive deeper into our connection to Europe & its edges. Critically exploring the topic of Eurocentrism, we will follow the links between Paris, Umm Kulthoum and our own experiences in today’s European capitals, where society and art have been shaped by migration.

The highlight & finale of this inaugural Indonesia Tour will be at the festival, which laid the starting block for our Asia-Oceania Tour: @javajazzfest 🔥🔥🔥 @nice_indonesia.id Hall 9C
What can I say... I found a paper from five years ago, where I had researched this as a some-future-day surreal thing I would like to do. It feels totally unreal that the day has come... so much faster than what I could have imagined!! WOW! 😱

This might be the furthest and definitely the longest tour I’ve planned so far… and frankly speaking, I don’t know how these impossible things are possible. (Let alone in the current state of the world. 🥵😔)

We‘ll need strong nerves, patience and a good dose of luck & humour to make it through 3 countries and 9 cities! But above and beyond all of it: I can’t wait for the music, the people and the impressions we‘ll gather! 🤗
