Last extended solo ride in my favourite London ambient booth for a little while before bringing some dear guests to join me & a cute collab with o•rbyss during summertime.

If you fancy coming down this evening, be it to sauna and rest your way into the weekend or to luxuriate in a much needed moment of calm before heading out to dance, I’ve got you 🪄

Over the past decade, she has been sharpening her musical knowledge behind the counter at London’s electronic music institution, Phonica Records, catering for curious local and international deep music heads and she currently serves as curator over at Sauna Social Club Peckham.

Looking forward to another early evening behind the booth at my soul home at Sauna Social Club. Always a joy to be back to play ambient and downtempo music that I’ve been loving recently, soundtracking this gentle space 🫧

Team Spotlight: @avsluta_ part 2! ✨

Star girl Lucie talks us through how she selects the line up for the Ambient Sessions. Like digging for music until she strikes gold, she uses her intuition to guide her process. For a genre that has so much potential for story telling, it makes sense that the story is a core element that she looks for in her selections!

She really is a fountain of knowledge when it comes to ambient music and will be showing us her favourites down in the space as Introspective Electronics at tomorrow night’s Ambient Sauna session 🌀

To celebrate the coming of Spring and moving deep into the powerful energy of Aries season I am taking on the full four hour Ambient Sauna sonic voyage this Sunday.

I will be presenting a snippet of my work-in-progress ambient into downtempo live set, carefuly weaved into the fabric of an extended DJ set. Expect gentle ambient sonics and organic downtempo blended with improvised vocals to welcome the first rays of Spring 🌞

Lucie, the little ray of sunshine that she is, sat with us in the space to talk through her role as Music Curator and what ambient music means to her.

As an ambient music lover (and expert), she feels there is no strict defining sound in this genre. Rather that it rests on feeling first. For her, ambient music is an invitation to soften which works perfectly for the vibes at sauna social club.

As the founder of Introspective Electronics, she has cultivated a platform dedicated to ambient and downtempo through radio shows, guest mixes and intimate listening gatherings.

Her sets unfold intuitively, shaped by the energy of each space, drifting through chill-out rooms, clubs and festivals with a sound that blends deep techno, psychedelic bass, dub and expansive ambient textures. A resident at Above Below Festival, she has also appeared at O.Z.O.R.A., Waking Life, Mostra, Lunchmeat and Café OTO, among others.
