Heya, here are a few music-related updates I have...

🥏 I’ll be heading back east this week to see family, record with the Geo Rippas, and play a show with one of my oldest friends, Leland Jackson @mellowdeg. My time in Baltimore will be brief, so please come through if you can. I’d love to see you.

⚖️ I’ve been a longtime listener and fan of the Libra Mix series. So, needless to say, I was more than happy to contribute. The mix itself is pretty playful and jammy. I recently contributed a track to Dummy’s remix album Bubbelibrium DLC. Go check out the whole release, it’s quite nice. 🫧

I first met guitarist/vocalist Nathan O’Dell back in high school when our bands would cross paths at a venue in Waldorf MD called My Brothers Place. I’m assuming this was both of our introductions to what it meant to be part of a “scene”.. Remaining in a similar orbit 20+ years on while still poking at music is a special/peculiar thing… Dummy’s a great band and if you haven’t seen them live yet, I strongly suggest that you do. I first met guitarist/vocalist Nathan O’Dell back in high school when our bands would cross paths at a venue in Waldorf MD called My Brothers Place. I’m assuming this was both of our introductions to what it meant to be part of a “scene”.. Remaining in a similar orbit 20+ years on while still poking at music is a special/peculiar thing… Dummy’s a great band and if you haven’t seen them live yet, I strongly suggest that you do.
