Μια γιορτή για τα 40 χρόνια του Τμήματος Μουσικών Σπουδών του Α.Π.Θ.

Με μία ιδιαιτέρως πλούσια μουσική εκδήλωση, η Κρατική Ορχήστρα Θεσσαλονίκης τίμησε τα 40 χρόνια από την ίδρυση του Τμήματος Μουσικών Σπουδών του Α.Π.Θ.. Υπό τη μουσική διεύθυνση του Βλαδίμηρου Συμεωνίδη, η Κ.Ο.Θ. ενώθηκε επί σκηνής με τα μουσικά σύνολα του Α.Π.Θ., όπως τη Συμφωνική Ορχήστρα του Α.Π.Θ., το Χορωδιακό Εργαστήρι του ΤΜΣ και την Χορωδία «Γιάννης Μάντακας» του Α.Π.Θ., σε διδασκαλία Ερυφίλης Δαμιανού, σε ένα ποικίλο πρόγραμμα με έργα συνθετών όπως των Μπετόβεν, Βάγκνερ, Σοστακόβιτς και Μποροντίν, αλλά και των δικών μας Αιμίλιου Ριάδη και Χρήστου Σαμαρά.

Την εκδήλωση προλόγισε ο Πρύτανης του Α.Π.Θ. καθ. Κυριάκος Αναστασιάδης που τόνισε τη σημασία τέτοιων εκδηλώσεων, ενώ αναφέρθηκε και στην πρωτοβουλία του Α.Π.Θ. στην αυγή του δεύτερου αιώνα ζωής του, με το θεσμό καινοτομίας Aristotle Innovation Forum που ξεκίνησε φέτος. Στη συνέχεια χαιρετισμό απηύθυνε ο Πρόεδρος του ΤΜΣ καθ. Γιώργος Σακαλλιέρος που αναφέρθηκε στο έργο του Τμήματος και τη σημασία της μουσικής γενικότερα, ενώ ευχαρίστησε την Κ.Ο.Θ. και τον Διευθυντή της Σίμο Παπάνα για την καλή συνεργασία των δύο φορέων.
