Gong Ambient Listening Portal
@kimifromtheinternet + @yaseminvollmond
@the_____portal
Set in the acoustically resonant space of Atemporal Listening Space, this ninety minutes sound performance invites you into a deep listening space shaped by multiple gongs, chimes, analog drones, vocal loops and layered textures.
The space itself amplifies the sound in a way that creates an enveloping, almost cinematic atmosphere. It’s an immersive, deep-listening experience.
We open with a short somatic drop-in and some vocal activation to land in the space, then we go deep. Most of the session is time to lie down, close your eyes, and disappear into the sound.
Created and performed by Yasemin Vollmond and Kimi Recor, both artists and sound practitioners with years of experience working with frequency, the body, and altered states.

The Ashtray as a Social Object
A group exhibition examining the ashtray as a functional object within social space - mediating interaction, holding traces of use, and quietly structuring moments of collective presence.
The exhibition reconsiders the ashtray as a design object that continues to shape social rhythms and shared experience.

Guided Listening Session — Aver (Move 78)
Aver of @move78insta and Atemporal invite you into an intimate and immersive session exploring the ideas, processes, and influences behind the band’s newest album In The Age Of Data.
The evening consists of two parts, offering both context and deep listening.
It begins with a personal and the band introduction, tracing Aver’s background in hip-hop and sampling culture, and sharing a selection of records that have shaped the sonic language of Move 78. Through these selections, he will guide us through influence, storytelling, and the art of sampling.
The second part shifts into full immersion: a complete, uninterrupted listening of In The Age Of Data, allowing the record to be experienced in full.
This is not just a listening session, but an invitation to understand how fragments, references, and histories are reassembled into a new musical form.
Door opens 17:30
Listening 19:00-21:00

Teshi’s Fine Hour is a listening session dedicated to hyper-specific genres of music. Each episode features a guest who highlights a moment in popular music history that is often overlooked or underappreciated.
For this session, we are joined by Max Binski, a Berlin-based record collector and producer, to explore avant-garde anime soundtracks that pushed animation music into bold and unexpected territory.
Together, we will look at genre-bending scores that sonically illustrated avant-garde anime, including Akira, Ghost in the Shell, and Belladonna of Sadness.
Date: May 22
Door opens: 18:00
Talk Begins: 19:00
Location: Atemporal @atemporal_projects
Boxhagener Str. 96, 10245 Berlin
Entrance: €10
RSVP is recommended.

About Max Binski @cleymoore
Max Binski, also known as Cleymoore, is a Portuguese artist and creative director based in Berlin, working across music, sound design, video, and graphic design. He’s the founder of Pluie/Noir — a label where every release is a dialogue between sound and image, music for the mind as much as the dance floor, which he’s been running since 2012. He also co-manages Rings of Neptune, a former artist agency that has evolved into a collective, record label, and creative agency, alongside its sub-labels Stellar Systems and Feedback Waves.

The Ashtray as a Social Object
Evening views from the exhibition.
As daylight recedes, shadows begin to extend beyond the objects themselves - activating the walls and allowing the ashtrays to take on a new social presence within the space. Through light, form, and reflection, the objects shift between stillness and interaction, functioning as quiet infrastructures for gathering and exchange.

On view until 31 May 2026, running in parallel to Berlin Design Week.

Ceramic Backgammon Set
Available now in the showroom of @atemporal_projects
This work presents a contemporary interpretation of a classic board game, existing both as a playable object and a refined element within an interior setting.
The board is shaped through a slow, handmade process that bridges architectural composition, functional design, and artistic expression. In contrast to geometrically rigid shapes stands a vibrant background with organic brushstrokes, as if it were an abstract painting. This visual carries an underlying energy that resembles fire and a sense of fast flowing movement. The set comes with a vessel for the stones, which follows a yin and yang form.
Material: Stoneware clay, various glazes
Dimensions: W 35cm / D 26cm / H 0,8cm

More and more people seem tired of constant overstimulation.
So instead of another loud Friday night, we gathered to drink tea, listen to a Japanese ambient album on vinyl, draw, slow down a little and just exist together for a couple of hours 🍵🎧
#listeningsession #listeningbar #berlinevents #japanesetea #teaceremony
What if on a Friday evening, instead of going to a bar, you went to listen to a Japanese ambient album on vinyl with a cup of warm tea? 🍵🎧
Yesterday we had our first Tea & Vinyl listening session at @atemporal_projects - a slower and more intimate format built around music, tea, and just being present for a moment.
We listened to Inoyama Land, drank Japanese tea, talked, slowed down, and honestly forgot about the outside world for a couple of hours.
The evening was curated together with Fabian Peltsch @malenkipile - editor on the China desk at Table.Media and freelance contributor to Rolling Stone, Musikexpress, and Arte, writing about global pop culture and contemporary Asian culture.
A big thank you as well to tea master Sofia @sophie_pulkus for the beautiful Japanese tea selection and all the thoughtful stories and knowledge she shared throughout the evening 🍵
Also very grateful for the support from local Berlin mixer brand @resorelectronics , who provided one of their mixers for the session!
And thank you to @atemporal_projects for hosting us in such a beautiful space. We truly believe it has the potential to become a very special cultural place in Berlin ❤️
Thank you everyone who came - the atmosphere yesterday was really special.
Already looking forward to the next one.🥹
