It has been a while, but we are so very pleased to welcome back @katebrooksprints and her incredible multi layered screen prints to #Sheffield next Saturday for #sheffieldprintfair

Kate is a screen printer who is inspired by being outdoors in the beautiful countryside of her home county, Derbyshire. She loves to create vibrant prints of those landscapes; capturing the shifting light and colours of each season, which she does magically.

Screen printing enables Kate to be inventive with the palette and layering of colours within each prints edition. Always striving to learn something new about how to improve her practice, she has recently started to draw designs and create layers on Procreate which, she says, "has been exciting and helped streamline my design process"

We cannot wait to welcome Kate and all our printmakers, both local and national, to The Millennium Gallery on Saturday 9th November.
