✨ Reflecting on an incredible year! ✨

In June, we closed our financial year with deep gratitude and pride. From bold performances, workshops, exhibitions, installations, talks to community-led collaborations, our 2024/25 journey has been nothing short of powerful.

This collage is more than a look back — it’s a celebration of the people, places, cultures, and creativity that shaped every project we brokered this year. Thank you to the artists, partners, and communities who brought these visions to life 🤝

Here’s to continuing to champion diverse voices, radical imagination, and art that connects to the world around us.

Experiencing bunna, an Ethiopian tradition, rich with respect, hospitality and community thanks to @m.araky

A ceremonious way to close a thoughtful project led by the artist and her whānau over the last few weekends. Thank you to those who attended the first sessions building ceramic pieces and then coming together and celebrating with the tea ceremony.

Proud to fund and uplift both artistic practice and cultural storytelling. How was your Saturday? Ours was enriched ☕️

We’re excited to welcome the Howick Photographic Society to the programme! With a long-standing presence in East Auckland, the society has been bringing photographers together for many years, supporting generations of creatives to develop their skills and share their perspectives.

Featuring both award-winning and emerging photographers, the group is all about storytelling through the lens. From beginners picking up a camera for the first time to experienced photographers refining their craft, it’s a space to learn, connect, and be inspired.

Keep an eye out for their upcoming exhibition and interactive photographic laundry, all happening somewhere unexpected!

@ormistonjc art students joined us (Arts Out East) on an art trail around East Auckland 🌞

With learning about arts and its impact in local community, we were stoked to share what we do and guide them around.

From Ormiston, to Mission Heights, Botany, Pakuranga and East Tāmaki, we spend the sunny day sharing the stories behind each of these public pieces, how we work with creatives, businesses, organisations and cultural groups.

Did you know you can visit these too?

Today is a special day for the many Māmās and motherly figures we’ve met, supported and worked alongside. We see you, we hear you, we uplift your stories and experiences.

How we describe, capture, uphold, share, celebrate and talk to stories of motherhood is exactly what @serenastevenson brought to life at @botanytowncentre 🌹

The rawness, selflessness, bravery, care, unshakable love, protection and guidance was immensely felt during each photography session.

Head to Botany Town Centre (The Pavilion, outside H&M) and experience local stories about motherhood, what it means to be a mother, how we describe to love we have for our mothers and more.

Today, is all about you. May you experience the love you so endlessly give. Happy Mothers Day to you.

Exhibition launching this weekend, just in time for Mother’s Day, The Connection Project by artist Serena Stevenson (@serenastevenson)celebrates the many forms of motherhood within our community.

Across two days, Serena invited local mothers and motherly figures, alongside their whānau, to take part in free professional portrait sessions. These relaxed, welcoming sessions created space for stories to be shared, capturing the depth, strength, and care that exists across generations.

Through intimate imagery and personal reflections, this exhibition honours motherly figures, creating space for them to be seen, heard, valued, and meaningfully represented.

A celebration of love, resilience, and connection, in all the ways motherhood exists.

Exhibition opens Saturday 10 May In Botany Town Centre in between Mecca Maxima and H&M,come through and experience this gorgeous exhibition.
