Artists Count is a binational initiative supporting artists across San Diego and Tijuana through funding, research, and professional development.
Today is the last day to verify your eligibility for the artists count grant. Submissions close at 5pm May 15th!

San Diego County and Tijuana are recognized as part of a vibrant binational region where artists thrive, but artists in the San Diego–Tijuana region also face systemic barriers to earning a livable income from their creative work, leading to both cultural and economic loss.
Artists Count: San Diego + Tijuana helps close the gap by providing the resources and recognition artists need to thrive as independent professionals.

At its core, Artists Count is about recognizing that artists are essential to our binational community. The program provides direct funding to selected artists while also gathering information about how artists live and work across our region. That research will help shape future policies, partnerships, and investments in the creative workforce.
San Diego and Tijuana share more than a border — we share audiences, collaborators, and creative energy. Many artists live, work, and build community across both sides.
