Thrilled to be able to share this gorgeous teaser of ‘Fractures: It’s Alright’ — a short film project led by @kevinkimframes that I got to be a part of before the world began to hasten its collapse. In our darkest hours, it will only be art, activism, and kindness that will SOS. I miss being able to work on (MUA) projects like this one since I’ve taken a pause for the time being due to obvious pandemic-related reasons. Looking forward to sharing the full-length with you all when the time comes. (You can catch me at @studioaoko in the meantime!) Wishing you and yours health, safety, and love during this majorly unprecedented time for us all.

Like a lot of you, hair & makeup artists/photogs/creatives, I miss being out there, being able to create collaboratively. I felt that it was a joy and a privilege then and I feel that doubly now. Since I’m not sure when we’ll be able to meet again to resume our shoots/work (at least in the foreseeable future here in NYC), I’ll be posting a bit of MUA & hair inspo here in the interim. I’ll be updating @studioaoko with some quarantine artwork as well. In the meanwhile, take care of yourselves & hold your loved ones tight (figuratively, if you’re not quarantined with them).
