A longtime Burning Man selector and founder of Hector Works, he’s shared lineups and released music alongside respected names in underground house and disco culture for decades. Anthony continues to produce music, DJ, and move dancefloors between Upstate NY and San Francisco. 🪩

For the last 25 years @proper_philth has stood behind the turntables gathering crowds with his unique blend of psychedelic disco, b-side funk, house, and classic hip hop. If you keep your ear to the ground you can find him creating his own scene in and around the waterfalls of Ithaca, NY.

Got a special one for you this Saturday! Legend Greg Wilson returns to San Francisco after a too long hiatus and Rave Lord Anthony Mansfield has a little birthday bash just to make sure we know he's old! Let's have a boogie!!

Out of the Wicked’s Crew’s full moon raves at Baker Beach, came a handful of direct disciples; torch-bearers of the acid disco, called by the mission to make bodies move. Our next master selector is one such man, who carried these influential roots to New York and back; imprinting the deep and nuanced sound into each floor along the way. And over the decades, ANTHONY MANSFIELD has woven his own natural mystique, having joined SF stalwart DJ M3 to form the infamous Green Gorilla Lounge in 2001; strewing legendary underground parties across the Bay and inviting top tier talent from across the globe. ANTHONY also fostered the widely adored Burning Man camps of Space Lounge and Disco Knights, and as an integral organizing musical force, left an enduring mark on the playa sands. He has produced for the nu disco, house, and edit fundamentals— Rong Music, Gomma, Wicked, and Om Records— and launched his own label, Hector Works, with NYC deep house wizard Nick Chacona. He has multiple records in his catalogue with acid godfather DJ Garth, and has garnered support from leaders of the scene in Harvey, Ivan Smagghe, Dimitri from Paris, Greg Wilson, and the Idjut Boys. ANTHONY is a true and living steward of dance, and we simply can’t wait to welcome him to the helm for another sweltering spin from the evening into morning light — come and join the Basement family for this next edition of rhythmic enchantment.

And carrying that same torch of devotion and depth, we welcome DJ SAMWISE.

A lifelong crate-digger and steady force in the LA underground since the mid ’90s, SAMWISE co-founded the beloved Spacewalk in 2010 alongside Armando Gil and Alex Mora — later expanding the orbit through Spacewalk Radio. A true architect of mood and movement.

For this gathering, SAMWISE takes on the opening invocation. Expect a slow-burn transmission — deep, spacious, intentional — guiding the room from first pulse to full lift.

The foundation is set. The dance awaits.
