Hey everyone! it's been a little while, but I just wanted to let you know that a track I wrote this year is included on the new 3024 compilation; Undercurrents Vol.1, out this Friday on Bandcamp and available to pre-order now. Tracks by @monibi_music and @danny_goliger are already streaming - go have a listen! (link in bio) 

I'm excited but also a bit nervous (hence why it's taken two weeks to post this) but I'm glad to be finally sharing something I made during my time on the 3024 mentoring program. 

It's been a very turbulent year on many levels and I've often felt like I'm clinging to the idea that I'm a musician by a very miniscule thread. The 3024 program has really given me a lifeline, structure and encouragement to just keep going. I look forward to coming out of my shell and actually engaging more with everyone involved. It's truly amazing and inspiring to be part of a community of incredibly talented individuals who really want the best for each other. 

Huge thanks to powerhouse that is @martyn3024 for this inclusion, your encouragement, your energy and for creating this invaluable and safe hub for artists. Thanks to @jeroen_erosie for the as usual amazing artwork - can't believe I'm associated with this and the @_3024_music_family! I've loved this label for such a long time. I don't know how you do it -  what a dream team.

The Isla Ray Way! We are back! Friday 21st June 🖤

London born and bred, Ross Harper and Anna Bahow have both been playing a monthly slot at Isla Ray for a few months now, for this session we are joined by apaull, an art techno music producer from Canada.

It’s Solstice, it’s the longest day, the moon is almost full, energy is high, come and share it with us at Isla Ray, we are going til 1am, so the perfect springboard for a big night, or just a great way to see out this special day!

This is the very first photo of our dance floor.

It was the first stage in making our dream a reality: a space for artists to tell their story -exactly how they want it to be told.

Moments like Friday night’s RE:SISTANCE are precisely the reason why we opened FOLD six years ago: to give the power back to the artists. And we all got to experience what can result: abounding creativity.

Four artists who we admire dearly both musically & off the dancefloor, took to the booth to tell their own tales. For two hours each we got to step into their shoes and see the world through their eyes. The four played the sounds that inspire them, with everything from breaks, techno & everything in between.

Four artists. Four stories. One night.

Six years have passed since we threw open our doors for the first time. Hundreds of artists have climbed those stairs to grace the booth, and all have left lasting impressions. In each edition of RE:SISTANCE we welcome back four of our favourite artists from these six years, and invite them to play the sounds that reflect their past, present and future musical journey.

All of the income received from every ticket sold is split equally between these four artists, ensuring all of your support goes directly to the artists you have come to hear.

Super last minute post due to early 2024 overwhelm. Day job + winter = utter exhaustion. And it usually takes me X-amount of hours to make a single posting here.

However, I am looking forward to celebrating the opening of the new @aajamusic space tomorrow, 3rd Feb. The first party in conjunction with @eckerecords Especially excited for an extended set from one of my favourite artists, Om Unit. It feels amazing to be part of this lineup!

We are thrilled to reveal @bahow_music as the next artist on the line-up of FOLD X Stay Up Forever’s Acid Xmas. 

In the midst of the world’s extended hiatus, Bahow joined the System Revival take-over of our LIFT streaming series and brought us an hour of sheer sonic delights, which were brought to an even bigger audience this past September as she opened our 60th UNFOLD.

Her astonishing musical knowledge is steeped in the various facets of breaks, constantly re-surfacing tracks that we had thought would never be found again, whilst also never fearing to venture further afar into other genres.

Bahow joins @nanzhen_____yang and @perctrax on the announced line-up for FOLD & Stay Up Forever‘s Acid Xmas on Friday 29th December, with more artists to be revealed soon.
