✧ ✧ ✧introducing rokka ✧ ✧ ✧

We are rokka: Anna & Rozina

We both grew up in Budapest and studied at @mome_budapest, but we didn’t really hang out much back then. Anna graduated in Design Culture (BA) and later in Media Design (MA), while Rozina studied Textile Design and later earned her Master’s in Art & Design Management. Years later, Berlin became the city where our paths truly crossed again.

Anna is a photographer and media artist living and working in Berlin. Her work spans photography and experimental media, and in the past years, she has worked as a photographer, photo studio assistant, and art teacher in Berlin. Since 2022, her projects have been featured in solo and group exhibitions at venues such as the Vasarely Museum and Foundation (Pécs and Aix-en-Provence), SYAA Gallery (Budapest), Kiscelli Museum (Budapest), and ZÖNOTÉKA (Berlin). She has recently participated in EMOP Berlin and the Budapest Photo Festival (2025).

Rozina comes from a background in fashion and textile design with a strong focus on art direction, costume design, and visual storytelling. She has worked internationally on TV and film productions and on commercial campaigns for brands. Throughout her studies and career, Rozina has lived and worked in Melbourne, New Jersey, Denmark, and Rome: experiences that shaped her global perspective.

Here in Berlin, after countless coffees and convos, we kept circling the same themes: the chaos and beauty of this creative city, the endless opportunities… and the endless rejections. After months of sending out tons of job applications with no reply, we asked ourselves: why not build something of our own?!

That’s how rokka kollektiva was born. A space for visual storytelling, photography, and handcrafted ideas that reflect how we see the world right now.

We want to take our visual storytelling into brand partnerships, creative collaborations, and editorials — projects that merge concept + craft + narrative into something unique.

Our first chapter begins here: with a dinner table caught between reality and dreamscape.

✧ ✧ ✧introducing rokka ✧ ✧ ✧

At rokka kollektiva, we create with our own hands: arranging stills, shooting Polaroids, stitching, collaging. We believe in the slow magic of manual techniques,– embracing imperfections, weight and warmth.

Yes, we’ll use digital tools where they serve the work, but the essence is always ours: touched and shaped by the two of us.

We believe that eyes look differently on images shaped by trials and time, than on those conjured by code.

We’re open for freelance projects – from food, fashion, product, and editorial photoshoots – and our collective welcomes brand partnerships that share our values.

AS LONG AS IT'S PINK

Zeitraum: 08.05. – 12.06.2026
Vernissage: 07.05.2026, 19 Uhr
Öffnungszeiten: Mo. – Fr. 13 – 18 Uhr

Ort: Collegium Hungaricum Berlin
Dorotheenstraße 12
10117 Berlin

The Numbers Guide a Dance, 2025/26

What happens after death? Do we leave a mark on the world or on others? If so, what kind of mark, and how long does it remain active? Does it vanish immediately, or does it persist for decades? Does it live on in our children, our loved ones, our friends, or in a simple brief interaction on the street? Everyone leaves a mark, the question is what kind.

The Numbers Guide a Dance, 2025/26

The topic of death is frightening at first, yet the conversation still made us laugh. We are human, and everyone must face mortality at some point. It is terrifying because it is unknown, but it is something we can share with others. Color, tradition, certain symbols and a simple touch give strength and courage.

The Number Guide a Dance, 2025/26

The distant future is much more about desires and goals to be achieved. Let us remain human, attentive to one another, yet still able to turn dreams into action: perhaps opening our own restaurant, working, studying, growing, and supporting each other.

The Number Guide a Dance, 2025/26

The near future is about concrete plans that already live within us and emerge as active intentions. Some wish to return to their hometowns, while others want to build a new home, work, or start a family. Some engage more actively and loudly in shaping the future, while others focus more on seeking their inner peace. Above all, it is about taking action.

The Number Guide a Dance, 2025/26

Reflecting on our present, certain experiences, thoughts, and feelings from the past take their place. Some are able to set down their burdens and, feeling relieved, embark on something new, whether it is a new home, a new country, a new job, or a new idea that has matured. Mindfully living the present is a reflective state that carries the possibility of growth and change.

The Numbers Guide a Dance, 2025/26

What is growing up and being an adult about? It is about challenges, trials, and responding to one situation after another. But it is also about the kind of people we become, whether we can hold on to our childlike selves, our attentiveness, our capacity for love, and our playfulness as we move through the world.
