As they navigate disappointment and resentment, they discover the true value of love and sacrifice.

Growing up in the United States with a single immigrant mother presented significant challenges, but it profoundly shaped the individual I am today. A poetic journey through grief, sacrifice, and immigration, this story follows my mother’s path to the U.S. after losing her father, carrying pain while still fighting for a brighter future for our family.
