I wanted to do at least one #mermay drawing before the month was over so I decided to do @jacquelindeleon 's prompt "jellyfish" for today. This painting definitely took me longer than expected. Thanks to everyone who encouraged me to finish it. I hope you enjoy! Comment any name ideas you have for her 💖

"Eye in the Sky" painting I did for my art club prompt for this month which is "Eye". If you wanna join the fun check out @angelic_vortex_art_club

I was inspired by the anime "Love Through a Prism", specifically the episode where they'regiven the prompt to paint the sky as they see it. So I thought it would be fun and creative to paint the sky in an eye. I definitely struggled with this painting more than I thought I would but I'd say it was very good practice. Hope you like it.

Hey artsy friends, I thought it would be fun to start an online art club!! I hope you'll join in. I'll post a new prompt once a month and you can create an art piece related to the prompt. The art can be traditional, digital (no AI), crotchet, collage, doll making, poetry/song, makeup, cosplay, whatever! This month's prompt is "Eye". You have until the last day of this month to create something. I will post all entries on the art club page upon completion and once it's over I'll make a featured post on my main page including my entry plus 19 of my favorite entries. Be sure to message me your entry! I don't always see tags. My fave pieces will be based on creativity, not skill level. Can't wait to see 👁 what you all come up with and remember to have fun! I'll post a new prompt on the first of every month so stay tuned! Follow for more @angelic_vortex_art_club

Hell's Paradise really made me feel all the types of ways. The visuals were so inspiringly beautiful and haunting at the same time. Before I watched it, I had only seen a snippet of it on tiktok and was captivated by the supernatural aspects of it. I didn't fully know what to expect and it didn't disappoint. Interestingly enough, the same character I saw in the tiktok snippet is the same one that inspired this painting: Zhu Jin. While I wasn't a huge fan of their character in the show, I did love their character design, specifically their hair. Hibiscus flowers are also one of my faves, which is what Zhu Jin essentially is. Of course, I had to put my own twist on their character design to make it more my style. It's been a long time since I have felt this inspired while painting an art piece. And I stopped it at several points for fear that it wouldn't turn out how I imagined. But once I was done with it, I couldn't stop staring at it. I felt that I did my imagination justice and it accurately represented the devastating beauty depicted in Hell's Paradise. Watching the anime was a roller coaster of emotions both good and bad but it was well worth taking the time to absorb it all. I'm quite tempted to keep this particular painting but I might let her go for the right price. In the mean time, I think she could use a name. Feel free to comment name suggestions if you have any and I hope you enjoy this art piece even half as much as I enjoyed painting it ❤️

Post Anti - Valentine's Day art "Soft Break" acrylic painting I did on a thrifted wooden plaque. It's nice to be painting again. I definitely wanna keep it up. I think I'm just going to paint on wood from now on, it's my favorite surface to paint on. As far as Valentine's go, all I did was work and sleep. It was probably the least I've ever done for the holiday and it was honestly nice to get the rest.

If you want this painting it's $145. Payment plan is available at checkout on my website - www.AngelicVortex.com. You can also buy it off me in person if you're local. Choose "local pickup" at checkout if you want to buy it online and pick it up from me in person before someone else snags it.
