Most of all, he loved me through many different phases of my life.
Phabian meant and will always mean the entire world to me. My future children will still know him as their God father. His legacy will be carried through me, always.

Instilled in Friendsgiving History, we want to take a moment to honor Phabian Caribe. Phabian was a common participant and poet at Poetry Unplugged and his passing last year impacted us all. In honor of Phabian, we will be celebrating one person in particular through our Caribe Legacy of Love Award. The Caribe Legacy of Love Award is named after our dear friend.
This morning, I didn’t just run a 5K for me or my late best friend, I ran it for anyone who has ever felt like the world would be better off without them.
I ran for the people who has felt like their depression is too heavy to carry.
I ran for the people who have seen grief face to face.
