Zondag 12 april is het dan zo ver, de Brabantse Voorronde!💽 Tijdens deze dag laten verschillende acts zien wat ze in huis hebben en strijden ze voor de plek op de Landelijke Finale!🪩 Deze plekken worden uitgekozen door een jury uit de industrie, we stellen ze graag aan je voor!💛

𝗔𝗻𝗚 (Angelo de Leeuw) is een dj en producer uit Breda die dansvloeren tot leven wekt met zijn aanstekelijke energie. Hij verkende diverse genres, maar vond zijn geluid in techno. Met boekingen nationaal en internationaal en meerdere releases vestigt hij zich als een opkomende kracht in de elektronische muziekscene. Als medeoprichter van @ruis.collective zet hij zich in voor samenwerking tussen jonge elektronische creatieven.

𝗝𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗲 vormt haar sound als dj sinds 2015, met diepe, hypnotische en percussieve techno, en heeft evenveel liefde voor vinyl als voor digitale sets. Ze is een vertrouwd gezicht op Draaimolen Festival, resident dj bij PAX-ROMANA en stond achter de draaitafels in clubs als De School, Tresor en Bassiani. Naast haar optredens geeft Julie al meerdere jaren les aan jong talent tijdens de dj-workshop 'Draaisessies' van R-Newt Jongerenwerk.

Over the past week I gave myself a challenge to make multiple tracks out of one self-made bass sample (last slide). I used two versions of the bass sound: a Reese-bass version and a chopped-up version. I wanted to see how you can change the overall vibe just by using drums and lots of FX. Very happy with the outcome. Here are some snippets of the pre-masters:
