Something new is coming..
But I thought I’d take a moment to reminisce, as it’s been five years to the day since the release of my album
"In Light" on Lowswing Records.
Watching this video of the live analogue session from the old Lowswing studio—with the core crew of the album—takes me right back and gets me so excited for what’s to come.

ממש לפני שעוד נחשול מלחמה הציף פה הכל שחררתי שיר ווידאו יקרים לי מאוד
בחרתי את תאריך היציאה שיהיה יום לפני ציון עשרים שנה לפטירה של אמא שלי.
מאוד רציתי לתת רוח של טוּב ודרך חדשה לתאריך הזה.

בליסטים מתפצלים מעלינו ומה שמתפצל מול עיני זה בעיקר המצב המנטלי של כולםן סביבי
אז מקדיש את הגרסה הזאת עם הציפורים והרוח מחוץ לאולפן שלילכל מי שמתקשה למצוא אחיזה במחר.

Just before another wave of war flooded everything here, I released a song and a video that are very dear to my heart.
I chose the release date to be the day before the 20th anniversary of my mother's passing. I truly wanted to bring a spirit of goodness and a new path to this date.
Oh well... 😐🤍
As balistic missiles split across the sky above us, what I see splitting before my eyes is mainly the mental state of everyone around me.
So, I’m dedicating this version, with the birds and the wind outside my studio, to anyone struggling to find a foothold in tomorrow.
May better days come. Amen. 🐻🐦🤍

אני כל כך שמח לשתף את היצירה הזאת שאני כמעט עצוב.

כתבתי את השיר הזה אחרי שצפיתי בדוקומנטרי על הביג'יז. חוסר הציניות הכמעט מוזרה שלהם והחיפוש אחר המנגינה המוזהבתנגעו בי עמוק. ישבתי עם הגיטרה ,ניסיתי לקלף את השכבות שלי ולכתוב מנגינה פשוטה ואמיתית.
עם השיר מלווה אותי היה לי רעיון לסיפור על דוב טרוד שלא נרדם שפוגש ציפור פצועה שלא יכולה לעוף.
שני חברים מבריקים, המאיירת לי-אור עצמון פרוין והאנימטור עילי בלבן חברו אלי ובכשרון, החמלה והנדיבות שלהם הביאו את החזון הזה לחיים.

אני רוצה להודות לכל האנשים הנפלאים שעזרו להביא את היצירה הזאת להשלמה שאני כל כך אוהב. קרדיטים מלאים בתגובה.

I'm so happy to share this creation I could almost cry.
I wrote "Islands" after watching a documentary about the Bee Gees. Touched by their lack of cynicism and their quest for the "The golden melody", I sat down with my guitar, tried to peel off my layers and aimed for a “Melody pure and true”.
Then, with the song in mind, I had this idea of a story about a troubled bear who can't sleep that meets a wounded bird who can't fly.
Two wonderful & brilliant friends, Illustrator Lee-or Atsmon Fruin & animator Ilai Balaban, came along and with their brilliance, compassion & generosity helped me bring this vision to life. No Ai 🫀
I want to thank all the beautiful people involved in bringing this song and video to its completion (full credits in the comment).
Since this story is a visual journey, I highly recommend putting on your headphones and turning your screen sideways (Full Screen) for the full experience. It’s worth the extra click. 🎧✨

כל הבוקר בכיתי
נימים בנפש שלא הבנתי עד הסוף שיחררו כאב על אובדן גדול.

רצו לי בבת אחת הרגעים עם מתי מגיל התיכון שהיו כמו סגורים לי בקפסולה. ואני מזיז הצידה את פחד המנוח ואני ומשתף בכאב.

ההקלטה הראשונה בחיים שלי איתו מיקרופון מול מיקרופון.
שהתקשר להזמין אותי לאולפן ומרוב התרגשות לא ישנתי כל הלילה ובכלל הקדמתי בשבוע אז הוא נתן לי סתם לבלות איתו שם.
שאסף אותי מתלמה ילין ואכלנו יחד ודיברנו על אלבומים וקריירה והוא היה כזה טוב ונדיב.
שראיתי מהצד שיחת טלפון של אמא שלי איתו שהוא מרגיע אותה שכדאי שכבר נקליט משהו ולראות אותה מנסה בגמלוניות לשמור על פאסון ולשמור עלי בו זמנית, כי היא ידעה יותר מכולם שאני לא הילד הכי לא פגיע. 
בעיקר השיחה במסעדה ברחוב הירקון שאמר שרוצה שנקליט דואט ושנעשה אלבום שלי ואמרתי לו ממש תודה על המחמאה אבל שאני ילד בן 16 ושמי שיקנה אלבום שלי זה רק ילדות בנות 12. מאוד פחדתי כנראה. 
ואז הוא אמר לי שהוא לא ילדה בת 12🙂 ושחוץ מזה זו לא מחמאה, הוא מציין עובדה, שנולדתי עם משהו שנשמע כאילו יש לי אלפי שעות שירה יותר ממה שיכולות להיות לי. 
משפט שיהדהד בי לנצח בקול הזה שלו. ושיחה שהדהדה בי והשפיעה עמוקות.  לטוב וגם לרע לפעמים כי הרגשתי שאני לא משרת מספיק טוב את ה"עובדה" שהאיש שהוא הכי עובדה של יכולות מולדות ציין בפני. 

המציאות הסתבכה לו אח"כ והקשר התמסמס, ואני לא יודע לגמרי למה לא יותר ניסיתי ליצור קשר כאדם בוגר, פחדתי ממשהו. אולי שיתאכזב ממני, אולי שאתאכזב ממנו או מאיפה שאני אצלו בזכרון. זה כואב לי.

אני אוהב אותו. כל מנגינה, כל קו מלווה, כל אקורד יפהפה וכל כך הגיוני באופן מוזר.

אבל בעיקר את הסאונד שלו מדבר אלי כנער ושולח אותי לחיים של מוסיקה.

A new song with my brother, @shaimaestro

​We wrote this song together after I told Shai about a dream I had—I was sitting next to a large white lion on the edge of an icy pond, I could vividly  feel the touch of his fur on my skin, and the lion was calming me down. 

​We recorded it right away at his apartment, and that's my actual falceto vocal take that Shai later used to produce the track around. 

It’s the fifth single out of his wonderful new album coming out next month. Such an honor to be a part of this creation.

This video is a live cross continent spontaneous take we did a few days ago.

2026 started with a lot of existing new music : Just finished spkicing together the new album of the amazing singer and songwriter, multi instrumentalist and multitalante @alonlot Alon Lotringer.
This will be the follow up to the wonderful "In Light" from 2021

A dream-like moment from a few days ago.
Recording Guy's arrangement for one of my songs with this amazing group of musicians.
Outside it was snowing, and inside my heart was pumping with excitement and the hyper-focus needed to get this music on analogue tape.
Such a demanding and special studio session.
