The incline, humbling 🥴 The sunrise? Healing 🌅

The Lanikai Pillboxes, Oʻahu trail via Ka'iwa Ridge Trail features short but steep trail climbs above Kailua with unreal panoramic views of theturquoise coastline and the Mokulua Islands 🌊

📍 Distance: 1.8 miles round trip
⬆️ Elevation gain: 600 ft
✨ Highlights: sunrise views, ocean cliffs, WWII 'pillboxes', and one of the prettiest coastal overlooks on Oʻahu

POV: you just hiked one of the most famous trails in the U.S. 🏔️
Fun fact: Angel’s Landing got its name in 1916 because Methodist minister Frederic Vining Fisher said “only an angel could land” on the narrow summit. After those switchbacks and chain sections… fair enough 😅

For a little water therapy, check out one of Vancouver Island’s prettiest waterfall hikes in Little Qualicum, British Columbia. — and honestly such an easy payoff. The trail loops through old-growth forest, crosses scenic bridges, and takes you past both the upper and lower falls 🌲 Check it out at the link in our bio!

Walk through sandstone waves and stay for the stars 🌌🏜️

The Coyote Buttes South trail from the Cottonwood Teepees Trailhead in northern Arizona is a 3.9-mile loop through one of the most surreal desert landscapes we’ve ever seen.
It’s a relatively easy hike, but every turn looks like a different planet — striped sandstone formations, swirling rock textures, hidden alcoves, and wide-open desert views the entire way 👀The area is extremely remote with very little light pollution, which makes for some of the clearest night skies in the Southwest — just be sure to go slow, stay on trail, and pack a headlamp if exploring after sunset✨
