I’m Alex, a handstand, flexibility, and bodyweight strength coach working online and in person.
I started my training journey lifting weights just trying to get as swole as possible and it went great, but i always had this desire to have mastery over my bodyweight. This desire pulled and pulled at me until I finally started to put all my focus into training for bodyweight skills.
I attempted to do this on my own for 1-2 years pretty unsuccesfully, just watching tons of youtube videos for advice, but at the end of the day was still always questioning if what I was doing was the right thing or if I was really moving in the right direction, I had no confidence or trust in what I was doing.
Then I finally decided to reach out to a coach for help, and ever since then Ive completely fallen down the rabbit hole of this style of training, travelling around the world for retreats and workshops, and investing head first in learning as much as possible in how to develop flexiblity, handstands, and bodyweight strength.
Now I want to help those people who felt lost and confused with this type of training like I was regain clarity and confidence in what their doing through smart, systemized programming and make sure their consistency and patience doesnt go to waste, learning that all it takes is just showing up long term, and gains will be guaranteed.

Aki and I have been training together @center_for_balanced_training over the last 2 years with the main goal being to get a press to handstand, and last week we finally did it!

Aki worked damn hard these last two years and was always open to me experimenting and trying things out, this quality in him, was what finally got him there!

Extremely grateful for his trust in me and embarking on this treacherous journey, it’s not only gotten him his dream move, but helped me improve as a coach drastically.

Chasing a press is not for the weak hearted, and takes an extreme amount of patience, failure, frustration, anddiscipline. Im beyond proud of aki and what he accomplished here.
