I can’t begin to tell you how grateful I am for your support last night.

​With 150+ kind people on the yacht, the entire night was full of creativity, positivity and a sense of home.

​Last night was a dream come true.

​You made this a truly amazing 1 year anniversary!

​We were able to bring together people from different parts of the Nook startup journey, many different backgrounds and different careers, but more importantly, we were able to connect as a community AND raise $11,367.57 for the @ywcavan Housing Action Fund!

It was so much fun asking people to share messages. Everyone brought so much energy.

It was supposed to be a goodbye. Instead it felt like... a magical beginning?

Preschool friends reuniting for the first time in YEARS. High school friends finding each other in the same room. @hibikiii.333 spinning upstairs (with Tammy happy to show guests the DJing process!!) while Hitster battles happened downstairs - so much laughter coming out of that room 🥰

Mahjong tables. Video games. Cozy corners. So many little pockets of conversation happening at once.

And through all of it…this feeling that the walls can change but the village stays 🏘️

I found out mid-Jan and notified our members, jumping right into compliance and due diligence.

We were just hitting our stride - in the green, spring booked solid, new programs like @flowlagree launching in Jan, a community that actually showed up for each other. Then the landlord has other plans for the property.

Timing’s rough sometimes.

But what we built here lives beyond our curved walls. It lives in every connection made, every risk taken, every time someone chose to show up.

One more night together.
