POST (4/4)
17. @vasundharamk - Nothing surpasses a mother's support and love, from supporting me to follow my passion to making 100’s of rotis when needed on the set. VK came in as a team member and went all out in her efforts. For a film to be made, the team has to work peacefully and happily, VK took charge of making sure everyone’s stomachs are full so that their brain can think in the right direction. Thank you to my producer VK.
18. @vinay.barigidad - It was a blessing to have a producer like VB sir, his calmness, his patience, and yet his passion for the film pushed me up when needed. It is simple for everyone to like a fully completed film, but to read a film on paper and then have the confidence to invest in it is a very bold move. You have taught me to always look forward and keep calm in any situation. Thank you VB sir.

This experience will always be close to my heart, my first film, my first crew, my first milestone. Thank you to all the lightmen, camera operators, catering team, spot boys, helpers, drivers.
On to the next one now.

10. @suhailsani - One of the most creative brains I have ever met, speaks the least, thinks the most, and is best when given the freedom to show his creativeness. Every poster of the film tells a story of its own and its done with soo much dedication and passion by this person. All the above photos have been clicked by SS. You are the true example of an artist, thank you SS.
11. @iamhareeshkn24 - This guy has my highest respect, he did something on set for all of us and kept quiet about it. When the team got to know what he did for all of us, he became a star and each one of us hugged him and thanked him. A very lowkey person but with the biggest heart, HKN thank you.
12. Manikandan- The jolliest guy on set, he got along with everyone and made sure we all ate on time no matter what. Thank you, RM.
13. @rohit__________verma - The guy is fluidic, he can hide inside a car boot to record sound and also trek mountains. No matter what location, he smiles and gives a thumbs up. Thank you, RV
14. @aa.th.ish - He can fly his drone like a butterfly. His swift but precise movements with the drone are worth appreciating. Also, a great human being, even though we had a language barrier but never once did it feel like we are not understanding each other. A, Thank you.
15. @anishthomas60 - A silent worker, a guy who makes the least noise but always keeps grinding. Thank you, AT
16. @anith_sadanand - AS and I have two things in common, first that RU is our debut film and second we both had the deep desire to make something worth watching. It was a risky decision from my side but I somehow felt connected to this person and requested the first timer to do the music for my first film. I knew only he could get what I wanted and somewhat had the same vision in mind. People are loving the music and I am relieved that my bet had worked successfully. A very humble soul with a magical music sense. AS, thank you man. @pointless.pandit

4. @missnamitaarora - One person who can do any work, and that too with perfection is NA. Being the director’s assistant, not only did she fulfill that role but also took up the challenging job of costume assistant at the very last moment. NA is intelligent, strong, fast, and very adjusting. A boon for any director to have her as a DA. Thank you, NA.
5. @deepjangid05 & @chini_abhishek - The duo- Deepak-Chini, always come together and form a solid partnership. Is there anything this duo can’t do, I don't think so. From managing art and production during pre-production and then taking care of the art department during the shoot, this pair of DJ and AA can do anything on the film set. The film also looks good become of the way things are set inside each frame. Thank you, DJ and AA for making each frame beautiful.
6. @jash1th - My first project with him and I was completely blown away by the amount of patience he has, no matter what situation, no matter what timing, no matter what requirement, Jashwanth is always at it and somehow figures a way out. You will go a long way buddy, thank you JK.
7. @adityashenoy002 - He was rarely on the shooting location, never to be seen around and when I finally saw him, he walked into the frame when the shot was on 🤣. Even in the bts, AS has the least footage, the reason being he was continuously juggling between places to make sure all arrangements are done and the shoot goes on smoothly. His greatest assets are his "never say no" spirit and the knack to bargain. He saved us a lot of thousands which we used in making the film better. AS thank you.
8. @ahaan20_s - Actor, director, editor, singer, dancer, producer, aka Farhan Akhtar. This guy is a jack of all trades, his jolly and chilled-out attitude is nice to have around on a film set. Thank you AS.
9. @payal_radhakrishna - I just loved her dedication and spirit on the set, even after injuring her knee on the very first day of the shoot, she climbed mountains, jumped across streams, walked on rocks and farms, and made sure she does her job. Thank you star, PR.

The first film for any filmmaker is very special. From zeroing down to which story to tell, finding a producer who also believes in that story, assembling a team that aligns with your vision, getting the desired actors, getting their dates, nervousness on the first day of the shoot, watching your name on the clapboard, feeling that sense of responsibility when the film crew has put faith on me that I will create something worth watching. In the end, it is very satisfying when the audience accepts your film and connects with the idea or the story that you want to portray.
But there are a bunch of people who I call my crew, they believed in the story and my vision when it was just a few pages of script and each one of them worked towards one goal- turning my aspirations into reality. This is a thank you post to all these
1. Kevin Kailash - Kailash and I started this journey together, if runner up is a ship, then we both got on it together. From reading drafts after drafts to finalizing the edit, music, and sound, he was always with me being a constant support and critic when needed. Thank you, Kevin.
2. @sreechith_vijayan_damodar - The eye of the film, my first DOP, my brother. I was working as an assistant for a film in 2018 when I told SVD that when I make my first film, he will be the one who will shoot it for me, he might have taken it lightly back then but when I called him to inform him about the project, he was surprised. What surprised me more was he also remembered what I had told him in 2018. Today I am getting a lot of messages and most of them are about how well the film looks, Thank you SVD.
3. @prem.s - A film set will have one thing that will go wrong no matter what, in our film, it was the weather. It suddenly started raining heavily on the 3rd day and we lost almost half a day to it, I panicked as it was Bachan sir’s last day and we had a lot of work to do. But it was PS’s calm and composed nature that helped us start and also finish the shoot that day. Salute to PS for this, Thank you.
