O Grupo Coral do Auto-Tune regressa amanhã, numa primeira apresentação de um verão cheio (novidades em breve). Esperem algo completamente improvisado, entre uma deriva coral, o mantra colectivo, o choro digital e a abstração total, transformando o auto-tune de ferramenta invisível em matéria viva. Nesta apresentação, cantam Aires, Ana Patrícia Miguel, Bá Álvares, Sreya e Odete.

Grupo Coral do Auto-tune returns tomorrow for the first performance of a busy summer (news coming soon). Expect something completely improvised, a mix of choral drifts, collective mantras, digital weeping, and total abstraction, transforming auto-tune from an invisible tool into living matter. This performance features Aires, Ana Patrícia Miguel, Bá Álvares, Sreya, and Odete.

Unveiling our first production,

“Through the Chiral Veil” is an installation piece and VR experience that invites the audience to navigate through various landscapes and commune with the presence of other bodies.

The musical and visual landscapes that unfold during the piece express the emotional territories inscribed by each artist involved in the project. The audience is invited to traverse them both through direct interaction with the installation in the physical space and through the use of Virtual Reality (VR) goggles, which allow access to an expansion and reconfiguration of the space. Actions performed in one plane manifest in the other, establishing real-time communication between the bodies inhabiting the physical space and those navigating the virtual universe.

Depois de várias tangentes, conversas e ensaios, Aires e Carga Aérea voltam a cruzar-se para um primeiro encontro ao vivo rumo a um trabalho conjunto.

Entre composição eletrónica, manipulação sonora e exploração de texturas, o duo propõe um live act de contornos imprevisíveis — talvez distante das atmosferas ambient e drone associadas aos seus trabalhos anteriores. Ou talvez não.

Conna Haraway é um DJ/produtor baseado em Glasgow, Reino Unido, e fundador das editoras INDEX:Records e co:clear. Tendo atuado em concertos pela Europa, Ásia e Estados Unidos, funde uma miríade de influências em paisagens sonoras amorfas que atravessam ambient, dub-techno, IDM, eletrónica experimental e bass/breaks de estilo UK.

Os seus trabalhos mais recentes têm-lhe valido atenção de meios de renome, incluindo várias inclusões no “Best of Ambient” do Bandcamp, bem como destaques em órgãos de referência como o The Guardian e a BBC Radio 6 (nomeadamente, o programa The 6 Mix de Mary Anne Hobbs).

Músico madeirense no activo sob diferentes pseudónimos e um dos cabecilhas do Colectivo Casa Amarela. Como Aires, a sua estreia nos discos deu-se em 2014 com o lançamento do álbum homónimo pela editora portuguesa Enough Records.

Desde então colaborou com várias editoras, como a Genot Centre e a Bad Panda Records, até se focar na sua Casa Amarela, que partilha com a artista Mafalda Melim, com quem faz a curadoria do ciclo Jejum na Rua das Gaivotas

Actualmente, o seu trabalho reflecte um tema que se tornou central em todo o projecto: a efemeridade e a qualidade espectral das relações na era digital. Em 2021 editou o EP ‘Daylight Fireworks, pela ZABRA, e o EP ‘Chains of Silver, Chains of Gold’, pela finlandesa World Canvas. Estes são trabalhos sobre a aceitação inevitável da efemeridade, sobre a distância e as ilusões modernas que usamos para escondê-la.

Marta Forsberg é uma artista versátil, que tem trabalhado com editoras que respeitamos, como a Warm Winters ltd, Superpang ou XKatedral. O seu mais recente trabalho, "Archeology of Intimacy", mergulha na memória, nos arquivos pessoais e na linguagem, compondo a partir de fragmentos onde vozes humanas e sintéticas habitam com paisagens sonoras etéreas.

A abrir, Aires regressa ao salão para um dos seus últimos concertos antes do lançamento do seu novo LP, no próximo outono.

Last year, from July 3–6, Aires, Sã Bernardo, Sal Grosso, and Vile Karimi came together at @oespacodotempo , under CCA’s curatorial project Jejum, weaving ever-changing constellations of sound. Solo, duo, trio, quartet. No fixed paths, just encounters.🌬️🌬️

Each night opened the doors to the public, not for performances, but for open rehearsals. Intimate, raw, alive ✨ A daily ritual where structure loosened its grip and improvisation took the lead. This album captures that fleeting week. Microphones scattered across the space, catching fragments, crossings, and moments that can’t be repeated.

This is not a traditional release. Some rules were never meant to apply. 🌚

Special thanks to @pedro__barreiro and the entire O Espaço do Tempo team for their friendship and dedication. 🫶

We are very happy to annouce that 'Funchal, Funchal', by Aires, was selected through the Open Call promoted by Fractal Funchal together with Capela da Boa Viagem. It opens next Thursday, September 28, at 6:30 pm. Around 7:30 there is a performance as well.

Between subjectivity and selfishness, 'Funchal, Funchal' is an audiovisual installation that brings together the city's past, present and future in a torrent of sound and image carefully composed, sampled, manipulated and fictionalized. Self-aware subtitles and instagram filters accompany a collection of videos, from clichéd postcards of the city to recreations of the artist's personal and intimate memories, with all the humor and tragedy that it implies. More than making peace with the city, the artist is interested in understanding what will become of Funchal.
