HARMAY Hong Kong | retail for the curious.
In a world of instant clicks and same-day delivery, HARMAY’s Hong Kong store invites visitors to slow down and rediscover the joy of shopping as experience.
Stainless steel drawers, hidden products, subtle signage, a modern apothecary where discovery replaces scrolling.
Upstairs, raw brick and concrete meet mirrored cabinets, blurring boundaries between display and space. A tactile, intimate dialogue unfolds, unexpected, yet strangely familiar.
An offline world inspired by the online age.

Loud. Precise. Unapologetically HARMAY.
Our latest collaboration with HARMAY lands inside one of China’s busiest airports, transforming a moment of transit into a moment of discovery. Far from a conventional duty-free shop, this is a destination within the journey.
At its center, a circular display belt presents over 250 travel-sized essentials, static but purposeful, a sculptural gesture inspired by the choreography of movement.
The striking red interior cuts through the greyscale of the terminal like a beacon, bold, memorable, and impossible to ignore. Every detail is designed to meet the pace of travel while inviting pause, curiosity, and connection.
HARMAY Hongqiao is more than a store, it’s a compact, expressive brand statement, proving that even in transit, design can create a sense of place.

CHOPSTICK 箸 - A Spatial Dialogue by AIM Architecture
For Milan Design Week 2026, AIM Architecture designed the spatial experience for CHOPSTICK 箸, the inaugural exhibition by S—3 (@s3.site) curated by Yoko Choy (@missyoko).
Centered around one of the oldest and most universal objects in human history, the chopstick, the exhibition brought together 16 creatives from China, Japan, and Korea to reinterpret its form, rituals, and cultural meaning through contemporary design.
Our spatial concept drew inspiration from Confucian principles of harmony, mutual respect, and interdependence, exploring how relationships between objects, people, and space can create balance through collective presence rather than individuality.
A big thank you to S—3, Yoko Choy, all participating creatives, Milan Design Week, and everyone who stopped by.
The exhibition will travel to Antwerp for @antwerpdesignweek ADW this June, so if you didn’t get the chance to see it in Milan, join us in Antwerp!

First floor, HARMAY Hopson.
In contrast to the open and dynamic ground floor, the upper level offers a more intimate and curated experience. The dense warehouse logic gives way to a series of controlled spatial moments, where products are carefully framed within glass enclosures and archival cabinets.
Metal structures, glass, and refined material transitions create a quieter atmosphere, one that encourages slower browsing and deeper engagement.
Here, the “Depot of Beauty” becomes more selective. Less about accumulation, more about curation.

Inside HARMAY Hopson’s ground floor.
Inspired by art warehouses and museum storage systems, large sliding mesh partitions organize the space like a living archive. Products are not simply displayed, they are stored, revealed, and discovered.
The movable panels constantly reshape the store, creating shifting perspectives and new paths through the space. What feels like logistics becomes part of the customer experience.
Raw yet refined materials, polished concrete, stainless steel, ultra-clear glass, and timber, reinforce the atmosphere of a contemporary depot where beauty products are treated like collectible objects.

Introducing HARMAY Hopson, Beijing.
Conceived as a contemporary “Depot of Beauty”, or a true “Depot of Art”, the project reimagines the logic of storage and logistics as a bold retail landscape. Vast shelving structures, layered circulation, and industrial materials transform the act of shopping into a journey of discovery.
A place where warehouse aesthetics meet immersive retail experience, where products are displayed, stored, and curated like artworks in a living archive.

Between past and future.
In Hangzhou, time bends. Retro glass rooms meet mirrored cores. Repetition becomes rhythm. Each reflection pulls you deeper into a dream, part 70s nostalgia, part futuristic optimism. This is HARMAY Hangzhou: an illusion of time, a reflection of beauty, and a celebration of life’s simplest rituals.

HARMAY Hongqiao Airport – Shanghai, China
@harmayofficial just touched down in one of China’s busiest airports, and it’s turning the idea of travel retail upside down. A bold red interior slices through the terminal’s greys, impossible to miss even in a rush. A looping conveyor shows off 250+ travel-sized essentials, proving efficiency can look seriously good. And with modular shelves that shift from skincare to collabs in a snap, the space stays as dynamic as the people passing through.
It’s not just a store, it’s a bold statement built for speed, visibility, and a hint of drama.

A huge thank you to everyone who’s been part of this journey, clients, collaborators, dreamers and doers.
This year, Cotton Park is taking the spotlight. A project that is more than just architecture. It’s a living piece of the city, where nature, people, and culture meet in new and unexpected ways.
We’re proud, we’re grateful, and we’re just getting started.
Here’s to pushing boundaries, shaping spaces, and building what’s next.

We’re back on AD100 China, for the 7th year in a row!
