Continuing with our artist intro posts for the first rend’ of 2026, we are thrilled to have another Cosmic Render debutant in @aer.side, the solo project of French artist Gustave Robic.

A producer with an incomparably broad set of talents and diverse tastes, we have witnessed his sound explore sharp electronic music with sultry vocals, moving between alt-pop and club music spaces, through to his current work which shifts toward more ambient and exploratory forms.

Having relocated to Berlin his practice continues to evolve across scenes and disciplines, while his work continues to find new meaning and contexts. As sound-designer and composer Aerside explores the space between control and emergence - where digital processes, textures, and imperfections become expressive, and where the machine is pushed to the edge of singing.

His approach reflects an ongoing interest in electronic purity and the emotional potential of sound systems themselves; to this we say yes - yes, please!

Sunday the 26th is your opportunity to be part of the noise, and share in this very exciting one-off performance welcoming Gustave back to his old stomping ground, in a place where music is resident-in-chief @nextdoorrecords_

Elated to return with another spelling of our quasi-monthly experimental music showcase, flying the left-field flag high out West

Poking our noses out post-hibernation, Cosmic Render returns this spring with another winter under its belt and an absolute belter of a lineup - featuring two staples of London’s underground experimental scene, a Berlin-resident and co-founder of sister event @destroy__rebuild, and a researcher back in from the field ready to share the sort of findings that have already been turning heads and pricking up ears at festivals this year

We’re thrilled to welcome Demodulator (@notalitaie) for his Cosmic Render debut. Iraqi/British artist Ali is a musician, sound designer, and @saom_ldn stalwart. His work blends storytelling with experimental sound, exploring microtonality combining Arabic Maqam with electronic forms like techno, drone, and field recording, with a focus on synthesis and generative systems

We also welcome back @callummm_yes after a captivating set last year. Known for an inventive approach—using a shower holder to build the harmonic series—with a natural sense of showmanship his performances explore the perceptual boundary between chord and note, moving fluidly through the spectrum of dissonance and consonance

Joining us is @aer.side, the solo project of diversely talented producer Gustave Robic whose practice, with roots in alt-pop and club music, has evolved to ambient and exploratory sounds. Based in Berlin, his work as producer / sound designer continues to find new meaning and contexts, exploring the space between control and emergence

Another Cosmic Render debut comes from mykrəlite (@ahsounddesign), whose work draws on tensions between the natural and industrial. Blending recordings with hardware processes, his fractured live sets balance calm and unrest, purity and decay. Recent collaborations with @mochyndaer and @plena_sound as part of @resonanttidecollective have us eager to hear his solo voice in full
