With the main structure now reinforced, the new ground floor of Marinehaus has been cast and will soon be ready to support the next phases. The only way is up ⬆️
Across the street, the Märkisches Museum is also undergoing a much-needed renovation. Once complete, the two cultural institutions will form renewed cornerstones of the Museums- und Kreativquartier as part of the @stadtmuseumberlin

Our proposal is selected to set the direction for the long-term development of a central part of Vejle Harbour, Nordkajen into a new waterfront district, including the sketch design for a new university building for local university SDU. The plan stands out for its green wedges creating a stronger connection from the city to the water, a high degree of reuse, and clear strategies for the university building, public spaces, and future development. With the university building as the first major driver, the district can grow gradually through public spaces, transformed industrial structures and temporary initiatives establishing urban life.
In the next phase, @vejlekommune, @syddansk_universitet Vejle and our team will develop the proposal, sharpening the overall concept, phases and key priorities into a realistic framework. At the same time, a dialogue process is being planned, where citizens, neighbours, students, associations and businesses can provide input on public spaces, activities and everyday life in the first phases.

ADEPT is the winner of Ribe VikingeCenter’s new welcome and exhibition building with a proposal that brings together so many aspects we are passionate about: a site-specific design, a resource-conscious approach - and architecture that frames culture, learning, community, and experiences at a human scale.
The design forms a movement from the pace of the present to the presence of the Viking Age, gradually opening the story of Ripa to visitors. With a material palette of raw timber, clay, sculpted daylight and visible joints, the building becomes more than a frame for the exhibition, it becomes part of the storytelling. We already love the Yggdrasil tree, embodying Nordic Mythology.
We are very much looking forward to work with @ribe_vikingecenter @esbjerg_kommune @apmollerfonde @augustinusfonden as well as additional funding parties and exhibition designer @tordenoglynild_design to complete the project.
A huge thanks to our amazing team @revaerk_arkitektur@opland_landskab og Viggo Madsen Ingeniører.

Haus der Musik is the overall winner of this year’s @architecturalreview AR Future Projects awards – and we completely agree with the jury comments that highlight how the design is a convincing example of adaptive reuse, dealing with a challenge faced by cities all over the world: the dying shopping mall.
For us, the project reflects a theme that is becoming increasingly important in our work: transformation and adaptive reuse as a way of creating lasting and resource conscious cultural and urban value. Rather than starting from scratch, Haus der Musik builds on what is already there, transforming a former department store into a generous public gesture. That this approach is being recognised makes the award especially meaningful to us.
The project already passed its first milestone with the political approval in December.

154 temporary student housing units on their way to Nordhavn. We’re excited that our design for the latest @cphvillage is selected by @by.og.havn for an amazing plot at the outer tip of Nordhavn.
The site-specific design is developed from the CPH Village concept – aiming at creating community, affordability, and a low resource consumption.
Key aspects are:
·Inclusion / Six homes are reserved for young people experiencing homelessness, with allocation rights granted to the @koebenhavnskommune
·Affordability / Rents approximately 15% below market levels and about 40% below comparable concepts without study requirements.
·Simple and adaptable / Simple homes built in timber and biogenic materials that can be transformed and converted into new housing types.
·Co-building, rebuilding, and community / Shared houses, courtyards, and urban spaces that open toward the city and that residents can help develop together, inspired by the spirit of Fiskerihavnen.
The homes reserved for young people experiencing homelessness are realized in collaboration with the City of Copenhagen, the Home for All Alliance, and @realdaniadk

Our winning proposal for the Miloš Forman Square in central Prague is located in the UNESCO heritage zone and unfolds the transformed public space as a living urban landscape. The design responds to the competition framework, blending the Raumplan principles formulated by Adolf Loos with landscape. The result is a design that appears fluid and integrated with a variety of spatial experiences.
Our proposal extends the boulevard’s green axis with an open edge to all surrounding streets. Anchoring the design further, it draws on the city’s tradition of finely crafted street mosaics, each street and square layered with history, materiality, and identity. The paving design builds on the legacy by preserving, reusing, and reinterpreting the characteristic mosaic patterns reinforcing urban continuity and cultural memory.
A pavilion emerges organically from the square’s floor, with the paving continuing seamlessly up onto its roof. The stage it creates is a tribute to Miloš Forman, as an artist whose life and works were deeply rooted in Prague.
A dense tree canopy will be the dominant green element to preserve flow as well as aiding climate adaption and mitigating the urban heat island effect.
A huge thanks to organizers CCEA MOBA - and a sharp jury - for a really great proces so far. We are looking very much forward to the next phases.

ADEPT + @ohboi.studio awarded 1st prize in Prague. We’re so happy to finally be able to reveal our winning design for the B01 plot in @florenc21_ , one of the key plots within Prague’s largest inner-city brownfield transformation.
The project forms part of the overall redevelopment of Florenc, where former infrastructure-dominated land is being transformed into a dense, mixed-use urban district. Our winning proposal brings together historic structures, new office buildings, and public space into a unified urban cluster that responds to Prague’s layered cityscape.
Rather than treating the site as a blank slate, the project builds on existing urban conditions – infrastructure, heritage, and movement – transforming them into spatial qualities that support everyday urban life. B01 occupies a highly complex urban location, and the proposal addresses this challenge by forming an active ground floor and a network of passages, stairways, and public routes, improving permeability, and strengthening connections between the city centre and surrounding neighbourhoods.

Our proposal for a new World Heritage Center at Rømø DK is shaped by the landscape it communicates – weaving nature, architecture, and stories seamlessly into one. With a local identity born from the interplay between sea and land, the World Heritage Center offers visitors an engaging experience that goes beyond the traditional museum format.
The design reflects the meeting between Rømø’s architectural traditions, and the organic forms drawn by the tides - robust, simple building volumes designed to withstand the forces of nature meet the soft, flowing curves of the landscape.
Thanks to our collaborators for the huge effort put into the proposal @stedcph + @cwarkitekter

Our plan for the former freight rail area Köpernick in Berlin was recently approved by the Berlin Senate, marking an important milestone for the transformation of the site from infrastructure to green urban area.
The masterplan forms a diverse mix-use new area inspired by the historic structure and railway landscape, forming a series of linear green public spaces holding the plan together.
The project is a collaboration with our good friends at @karresenbrands and @PGT Umwelt und Verkehr
Client: Senatsverwaltung für Stadtentwicklung, Bauen und Wohnen.
