The Distance stems from a reflection on marble as a stable, heavy material, naturally inclined to remain still.
An object that invites a slow and silent gesture, where the body adapts to the material, preserving its presence on the table.

Petra begins with the simplest and most ancient gesture: pounding.
Marble preserves the memory of a persistent hand, of matter transforming, of an object returning to its most essential origin.
