Meet Mary Gold, your money game changer! 💰🟠

This is my first advert that I’ve directed and edited. It’s for one of my company’s client’s, the brand-new innovative financial management app Marygold & Co.

We’re hoping Mary Gold, played by the wonderful @helgwyn, will be a recurring character for the brand that will pop up in people’s lives jovially reminding them of their savings goals.

It was a pleasure working with both @helgwyn and @aleksbucevac , and thank you to my good friend and insanely talented DP @jamesonwhitefilms for coming in and being a legend on set.

It’s been a week since I’m Not In Love by @sisterbandofficial was released 💋🎸

Really proud of this one ⭐️

We wanted something that felt like a mix of 1970s nostalgia (like the original version) mixed with 2000s grunge with 3/4 distinct colours. I think we got something slightly more modern in the end, but very happy with the outcome.

I think the Clyde Metro video I made in collaboration with @getglasgowmoving was my favourite project I worked on in 2025.

It was fantastic to work on something that combined my passions of filmmaking, trains and maps, and it’s been so rewarding to see the response to it from local Glaswegians. As of 1st January 2026, it’s amassed almost 250k views on Instagram, with over 12k likes and hundreds of comments.

It came about after my first trip to Glasgow this summer with my mate Roscoe, before I had even decided to start @metromapdesign , riding around on the Glasgow Subway and quickly falling in love with the city.

After I got back home, I quickly made a London Tube map style version of Glasgow’s rail network. When I eventually posted it on my new Instagram map page, it got a fantastic reaction, far bigger than I thought it would, being shared by local MPs and journalists, calling for the relevant authorities to do something about the underachieving suburban rail system and its lack of identity compared to other European cities. It was clear that I had accidentally struck something interesting.

It was then when I was recommended by Labour MSP @paulsweeneymsp to get in contact with GGM, a local group trying to push for a better integrated public transport system in Glasgow.

We thought it would be a good idea to make a future ‘ideal’ map inspired existing plans, and over the course of a few months, with lots of back and forth between its members, we settled on the Future Clyde Metro map.

But a map on its own is not enough anymore. It needed to reach a large audience, so it made sense for me to go up to Glasgow and make an on-location video with a broad range of speakers from the GGM committee and its members.

I’ve worked on a range of different filming projects, but it’s the first time I’ve made a video like this. A flashy, scripted, well-edited explainer video, with map overlays and set to house music by my cousin @joe.borovoy , which conceptualises the plans and gets a conversation going without going into too much detail.

I’ve fully enjoyed working with the GGM team, and there’s a lot more to come from this over the next few months. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Thought I’d share this filmed live session I did a few weeks ago 🎥🎶✡️

The wonderful singer and guitarist @akivazneimermusic asked me to film his band’s rendition of “V’hi She’amda” ahead of the Jewish festival of Passover last week.

It’s a song that is sung around the Seder tables of Jewish families across the world where we celebrate the Israelites’ liberation from slavery in Ancient Egypt.

Vehi She’amda is a liturgical poem that expresses gratitude that God has always protected the Jewish people from those who sought their destruction throughout history.

After a delightful screening last week, I’m excited to share some still from “SHEIDIM”, an upcoming Jewish comedy-horror short film for which I was the Director of Photography 🎥 and Assembly Editor 🎞️

Really proud to have finally worked on a Jewish film as it’s always good to do something close to your roots 🕎🧟
