Conceived, choreographed, and directed by Cartier Williams (Bring in ‘da Noise/Bring in ‘da Funk, Bamboozled), TAKE THAT! CONCERT is Cartier’s bold and personal vision — where tap dance collides with rap and indie soul. This dynamic one-hour show fuses intricate tap rhythms, raw rap bars, and laid-back indie swagger into something completely fresh and unexpected. Blending high-energy hip-hop with soulful indie vibes, it delivers a genre-bending evening that redefines live performance. “When I first listened to this album, I immediately fell in love. It’s one of those recordings that makes you feel as though you are there, witnessing all the tiny moments of humanity captured within the melodies and chatter. You get to hear Ella laugh, swing hard, and even forget the lyrics at times. It makes you laugh, swoon, roll your eyes, and cry alongside her. Through this video, I hope to portray that intimate connection, allowing the audience to feel like part of the conversation. This video emphasizes the undeniably, beautiful relationship that exists between music, art, dance, and expression.

With all of that being said, I want to take time to thank everyone who has helped me throughout this process. To my teachers, friends, and family thank you for your endless amount of love and support. Words cannot even begin to describe my gratitude. Love you all!!
