I’m not really capable of talking on Instagram about how much this guitar bromance w @dehmannuel means to me…he’s one of my favorite guitarists of all time and I’m equal parts honored and mystified as to why he would want me in his band…every gig with him is terrifying but especially this recent one at @musig_im_pflegidach. the full video of this song ‘I’ve never closed my eyes..’ is on YouTube. Emmanuel plays a lot of melodies in it that make me want to cry. Thank you to Stephan who is an unimaginably generous host, an amazing chef and runs one of the best clubs ever!! and of course shoutout to the badass rhythm section @jaylachee @jeanmarcelbasquiat ❤️❤️

I have to shout out Anantha in particular @misterdangam, one of my biggest heroes in Carnatic music. I lost my mind when I first heard him on YouTube, lost my mind again when he later took me on as a student, and lost my mind a third time when he crushed this track, got out some extended techniques and FX and took the song to the next level. Very grateful to have met him, and to have been invited to work with him in person in Chennai in December 🤫 more on that later
