Another week of magical mountain music coming up this week at @zadiesmarket! The stage is looking great. We have a couple more exciting weeks in store before we wind down and take a break for the season. Look out for our season finale announcement, coming soon 👀
This Wednesday we are so excited to host @grahamsharpmusic (along with some special guests) in support of the @jamieagernc campaign. Graham leads @steepcanyonrangers who are widely known as one of the world's premier bluegrass bands. Come hear some world class music and support this world class campaign. This special event will kick off with music at 5:30, so come out early to catch the first set before we hear from Jamie and his campaign.
Our Thursday series continues on with @dulcisings and her band. Dulci brings an ageless, classic style to pop music, with her smooth vocals and warm melodies. Her classically trained chops meld perfectly with her instincts as a songwriter and her band features a selection of Asheville's best. She also lent her beautiful voice to multiple tracks on our Resonance Sessions fundraiser project, recorded here in the Old Marshall Jail building and sang at our release party blowout this summer. We can't wait to have her back!
We round the week off with a special Saturday appearance by @_thebackpocket. Led by @mphillipsmusic, this groovy and soulful group from Durham is ready to give us a taste of their originals and only the choicest ofcovers. Creative arrangements, adept improvisational interplay, and stellar yet tasteful musicianship will keep us on our toes and hungry for more. With a decade-plus of musical chemistry between them, The Back Pocket never disappoint. Come hear Matt and the crew stretch their musical legs alongside the mighty French Broad.
We'll be back with more next week. Every Thursday (and sometimes more) with wonderful original live music, food, and drinks from 6-8pm, rain or shine. Never a cover, always a good time!
