WRONG - RYAN HOPE’S PINEROCK MIX!!!!!!
This was an unlikely collaboration but, we feel, a destined one.
We met Ryan through Gabriels, who he co-produces with his friend, composer/producer @aribalouzian .
Ryan wrote this wild & heavy version of @annieandthecaldwells “Wrong” at Pinerock, his home studio in Cali, managed by his fiancé @honormaechapman . The combination of this track being mixed by underground UK electronic music legend, @boddika , to the additional recordings of live musician neighbors of Pinerock - namely Jay Anderson, a music therapist who works with the criminally insane in Yucaipa, CA - sums up what the place stands for and the approach.
Pinerock has been affected by the Rosa fire this week and we send wishes to the residents.

Day after playing in Ibiza at Kerri’s night. Supposed to be laying low. Few texts. Next thing I know am being picked up to play at some geezas new afters club. Back to back with two strangers. Didn’t know anyone before walking in. Hands down - one of the best gigs of the summer. Was everything I love about this thing of ours. The two lads I played with were EXCEPTIONAL DJs to me. @lanty.jackson and @jeremy_weeks. We played for 3 hours back to back I think?? Hardly spoke apart from me asking what the fuck is that nearly every tune. Absolute gentlemen aswell REAL tunesmiths. Matteo who is running @sigmaibiza - icon. Absolute GEEZA. I’ll be there as a piece of furniture next summer. That’s the side of Ibiza that is the real shit. Beyond proper. My dancing is out of order. My tunes are sick tho. #cheers. 🔊🤣❤️🔥🛎️ great times. NYCDownlow and MeatRack is the best club in the world and what @gideon_dj_official and everyone involved there is doing is a movement and we’re all moving with it. Thank god. Beacon of true light in a tough world right now. Absolute pleasure to close MeatRack on the Sunday - a privilege in fact. Shout out to the sound engineer who loaned me his headphones, the dancers and all my amazing mates who I don’t see enough of - but that’s changed. What a banger. My first time wiping sweat off vinyl just so it will play. Won’t be my last. Heart is full til next year. ❤️ big love @warmagency best in game. 🔥
