Good luck and congratulations to the seniors of the CCS Fashion Department who will be showcasing their thesis collections this Sunday. May all the intentionality, time, energy, passion, and creativity bring you to your dreams. ✨💕

To the dedicated faculty of the CCS Fashion Department and Interior Department, I look up to your expertise, talent, and care. Thank you for bringing your experience to Detroit and to each class. World class educators 💞

Big shout out to @7_8_15_19_20 thank you for trusting me with your vision for this book and bringing me into the fold ¨̮

I’m also proud to share that I took all the portraits and group photo (as a novice) with my little Ricoh. Thank goodness for a lofi vibe and direction for the photos. 3D modeled the artwork too! Fun! 😇

Iconic. The only way I can describe working on Sweet Marcel’s refresh. This project was a full sip of storytelling, symbolism, craft, and devotion. Together, we shaped the lore, language, and visual identity. I wanted to translate Nora’s process and passion into every detail, from branding to imagery.

Introducing the refreshed Sweet Marcel identity: rooted in a romantic, devoted approach to jewelry—intentional, and grounded in art history. We honored styles of bygone eras while reinterpreting them for the present.

So proud of this. I’ll cherish the experience as a reminder of what can happen when trust leads the process. Thank you all for your trust. 🤍

We live in the dream worlds we create. 🌏💫☮️💕 This was a self-initiated fashion editorial photoshoot and collaborative effort between Eileen Tjan of @_otherstudio , photographer Matt Allen, stylist Nadya Laska, MUA Erica Martens, and CG Artist Trek Matthews. The project was born out of passion. And while the shoot wasn’t associated with Nike, it was an incredibly rewarding project to grow as Chicago artists and storytellers. Some of us are now living all around the country, but we can proudly say we made this in Chicago, as part of the Midwestern community. We are honored to get to work with these talented friends and even happier to share with you all. Enjoy the photos and some BTS photos, design elements, and inspiration pulls at the back of the carousel.

In the winter of 2020, Nike invited @ileensan to work on some designs for a collection of women’s apparel inspired by the theme of “protection”. The initial approach was to create a narrative around this idea of citizen “protectors”, members of society who weave care and safety into their communities. We dreamt of how we would outfit them—drawing inspiration from video games, manga, uniforms, camo, and flora. This world building concept lent itself to an editorial shoot that could expand on this story by placing these characters in their near future environment. Character development conversations with Matt and Nadya gave birth to imaginative archetypes to play with for both pose inspiration and styling. With Trek, we were able to fantasize fertile landscapes that were rich, alien, overgrown, post-urban, yet optimistic and warm. The editorial storytelling process united the initial concept, story, characters, designs, and clothing while leaving room for collaboration and new ideas. We hope you enjoy! [O+]
