Organized as part of the European REACH @erc_reach project, the Improtech international workshop-festival combines the universal art of improvisation with digital intelligence and AI culture through a series of conferences, interdisciplinary workshops, installations, performances, and concerts. After traveling across three continents and bringing together leading artists and science figures in the field, Improtech returned to @ircam_paris, its alma mater, in December 2025, for an extraordinary edition focusing on the relation between improvisation, composition and spatiality, with a special tribute to the great composer and Music AI Pioneer George Lewis.

Now, thanks to the incredible technical and artistic work of the Ircam Sound / Video and PR teams, with the video production by @lounico.production and @houses_tokyo, an exceptional collection of movies documenting the concerts, workshops, lectures with additional interviews and documentaries is available to the public.

plus, i’ve realized these aren’t just items,
in a life that is always running faster, having things that don’t need a battery to work helps me slow down and appreciate the little things 🍃

holding the new printed issue of the MIT press Leonardo journal, and seeing in it my work on the new SoVo system alongside giants like George Lewis, Gérard Assayag, and Damon Holzborn, made it really sink in that my PhD will be wrapping up soon

between rehearsals at IRCAM for a new project, journaling, filling up sketchbooks, and catching the spring light in Paris, I can start feeling the ground shifting

trying to document these quiet, in-between moments as this chapter starts to close, before everything changes
