“Porto’s DJ Lynce unveils his first long play on Golden Mist Records: a raw exploration of breakbeat turbulence, acid resonance, tribal hypnosis, and esoteric soundscapes. Each track stands as its own ritual, yet together they form a narrative that moves between primal rhythm and spectral abstraction.
This is not a collection of club tools but a body of work that carries Lynce’s vision beyond the dancefloor-shifting from percussive intensity to moments of deep, elusive atmosphere. Pressed in a scarce edition of 40 cassettes, the release is both document and talisman, a sonic artifact from Porto’s underground destined to vanish as quickly as it appears.” @goldenmistrecords

SATURNALIÆ LUDI
December 21st is the shortest day of the year in the northern hemisphere, the winter solstice, and for centuries people have been celebrating this day. This Saturday the 21st we present you with a 6-hour performance, happening in the Passos Manuel auditorium between 18:00 and 00:00. 3 live acts will
be performed simultaneously on stage: painting, sound and light. Diego Bernard will be painting a 4x3m canvas, connected to DJ Lynce’s machines via several contact microphones to feed noise and movement into his synths. José Dinis’s visuals will adorn the stage
alongside the manipulation of a live projection
of the painting on the auditorium’s cinema screen.
These 3 distinct elements, when connected, create
a new living creation, a new organism. The result
is a 6-hour performance that takes mixed media to its extreme, enhancing the multi-sensory nature of performance—engaging sight, sound, and move-
ment simultaneously. This living organism will take the spectator on a transcendental trip, which
is the foundation of this piece.

This is a beautiful collage of sounds, field recordings, radio plays and interviews made from various sources and assembled in Palestine and Egypt in the summer of 1985 from composer, artist, sonic anthropologist, Sun City Girls and @sublime_frequencies founder Alan Bishop, it’s a time capsule from a country that is being fully devastated.
Also available from the Arab series is Radio Morocco, Radio Algeria and I Remember Syria, highly recommended!

Muslimgauze was the main musical project of Bryn Jones (17 June 1961 – 14 January 1999), a British ethnic electronica and experimental musician who was influenced by conflicts and history in the Muslim world, often with an emphasis on the Israeli–Palestinian conflict. With dozens of albums released under the Muslimgauze name, Jones was prolific, but he never achieved mainstream success. His music has been described by one critic as "among the most startling and unique in the noise underground." (Wiki)
Below is a essential and chronological album list related to the Israeli occupation… possibly my all time favourite artist, he died too early from a rare blood disease at the age of 37 and left a mystical kind of prophetic impressive music catalogue with hundreds of original music titles, most of it was posthumously released and still counting, a threat to some, an inspiration to many, he’s artistic genius got deep in my soul many moons ago and he’s truly missed, Rest in Power ✊🇵🇸
1 - Bryn Jones himself
2 - The Rape Of Palestine (1988)
3 - Hamas Arc (1993)
4 - Hebron Massacre (1994)
5 - Fatah Guerrilla (1996)
6 - Speaking With Hamas (1999)
7 - Hamas Cinema Gaza Strip (2002)
8 - No Human Rights For Arabs In Israel (2005)
9 - Fuck Israel w/ The Rootsman (2011)
10 - Shekel Of Israeli Occupation (2019) Edit: this one got deleted by Instagram Zionists!
