What a Malmö Pride! It's been wild, and it's still going on. Catch the last two shows of Indigo Flamingo at Skånes Dansteater on Wednesday and Thursday!

This week has included every thing, every feeling, and basically every person I know here in Malmö. It's been a poly-marriage of all my worlds.

The big question has been: where is the LGBTQIA+ community of Malmö?

Skipping up and down the Parade, performing at Indigo Flamingo, and dancing between rooms at the Slutfest I got my answer. Every 30 seconds I bumped into someone who was making shit happen for the community, somehow. There's so much going on and so many people giving their time and energy to do it.

I have to give a few special thankyous...

To @andrea_spicehound_correa first and foremost who channelled all this swirling energy into something beautiful and necessary.

To @arena305 for doing the really important work of creating safer spaces for our LGBTQIA+ youth.

To @jonnablode @nmtsk and @byjonashedqvist who organised somewhere around 90 events at Pride House and educated us all on Malmö's queer history, global LGBTQIA+ perspectives and the very essence of Pride.

To the beautiful board: it's been two years we've all done this together (more for some). The passion, the energy, the ability to survive without sleep is inspiring ;-)

To @skanesdansteater @marienormanorrthon and @gwynemberton for recognising that it takes time to build a community and then choosing to invest time, money, and so much energy opening up an institution to the people who surround it and need it.

To @ozi_bey_diyeceksiniz for making sure I ate, drank, slept and felt cared for this week.

And from my humble communications perspective:

To @radarkiwi for taking on so much responsibility for all this digital-websitey-stuff that I can't even comprehend, and then on top of that filling in wherever it was needed.
